PROVEN RESULTS.
GlycoFlex® contains a unique combination of the
GlycOmega™ brand Perna canaliculus, plus DMG,
glucosamine, MSM, and other active ingredients
that have been studied for use in dogs requiring
advanced joint support. GlycoFlex® is the only
Perna-based clinically researched joint support
product available.
Perna canaliculus (GlycOmega™ brand
Green-Lipped Mussel)
All of our GlycoFlex® products contain Perna
canaliculus, an edible green-lipped mussel from
New Zealand. The GlycOmega™ brand Perna has
been freeze-dried so that the whole organism is
included, providing many of the factors necessary
to maintain healthy connective tissue. It is rich
in amino acids, polypeptides, naturally chelated
minerals, fatty acids, glycosaminoglycans (GAGs),
vitamins, glycoproteins, protein complexes, polysaccharides and the nucleic acids RNA and DNA.

Perna contains all major classes of GAGs—including chondroitin 4 and 6 sulfates and hyaluronic acid—that occur in
connective tissue, such as joint cartilage, tendons, ligaments,
and synovial fluids. The GlycOmega™ brand Perna used in
GlycoFlex® products is exclusive to VetriScience® Laboratories. All GlycoFlex® products are produced under strict quality
control measures, including a comprehensive analysis of raw
materials and the finished product.

Washington State University Study on GlycoFlex® 3
Our advanced GlycoFlex® 3 was used
in a randomized, double-blind, cross
over design dog study at Washington
State University. In this study, researchers used an osteoarthritis (OA) model to
determine if GlycoFlex® 3 could support
normal joint function in affected patients. The results of the study suggest
that GlycoFlex® 3 may help normalize
joint function in dogs with joints affected by OA.
