Since last more than ten years we have been organizing Four days Adhyatmic Seminar while celebrating
Gurudev Janma Jayanti during Memorial long week ends at different places in North America.
During this year (May 28 – 31, 2010) Four days Seminar is organized while celebrating 121th Janma Jayanti of
Pujya Gurudev Shri Kanji Swami at Los Angles, CA. During this four days of Adhyatmic Seminar, we have
planned lectures by eminent scholars from India as well as from USA, Gurudev CD tape pravachans, GurudevVadhamana, pooja, Gyan Gosthi (Question – Answers sessions), Bhakti, movie on life of Gurudev.

Brief introduction of JSMS is as Follows:JSMS was started in a humble way by a Mumukshu as solo work during 1992 and it was formally registered as
Non-Profit religious organization with Federal Government during 1996.
Gurudev Shri Kanji Swami was instrumental in starting a new revolution in the percept and practice of Jainism
as envisaged by Bhagwan Mahavir and his predecessors.
Sole aim of this Mission (JSMS) is to pervade this Tatvagyan among desirous Mumukshus in North America.
Since last ten years, every year we organize four days Seminar while celebrating Gurudev Janma Jayanti at
different places in North America (during Memorial week-ends). We invite eminent scholars from India and also
local scholars to conduct the seminar.
Scholars are also invited to help celebrate Das Laxan Parva and conducting classes at various Jain Centers. JSMS
provide all Adhyatmic literature, CDs of Gurudev Pravachans on all scriptures, Atmadharma monthly, Atma-darshan
bimonthly, gift of books written by eminent scholars.
We shall consider our efforts aptly rewarded, if even a few people are encouraged from activity of this mission to direct
their lives on the right path to achieve real happiness. If you are still not a member of JSMS, we urge you to become a

Eminent Scholars Rajendra Kamdar, Dr. Rameshbhai Parekh from India and Scholars from USA have kindly
consented to help conduct four days shibir. They will elaborate on Adhyatmic Jain Scriptures.
Rajendrabhai, is visiting USA every year since 1993 for lecture series and conducting seminars, and is known to all of us.

On this Auspicious Day and beginning of New Year on 1st January 2010, Greet you with all the
brotherly / friendly love and affection to remind soul’s wealth and its enjoyment.
Greeting is a special intend of the human race to only remind the often forgotten Self – Soul in one form or the other. In
our day to day life we follow / observe this calendar for all activities / planning. This New Year beginning Day is the
occasion to remind one and all of the invaluable, inexhaustible and incalculable wealth of the Self – Soul.
Let us resolve this day to formulate self efforts in a big way to achieve the Samyaktva (Self Realization)
during this life time. If not, at least to plant the roots for this great cause, so as to accomplish it during
the next couple of lives.
Wishing you and all the near and dears an early dawn of Samyaktva (Self Realization) on this New Year Day.
Enlightenment - Self knowing and seeing Self - is a rare occurrence in the human race only, though its
seed could grow in any one of the four gatis. Nonetheless it is very much in each and every soul in all
the four gatis in its latent state. Pancham Gati - Siddha Gati - is the obvious / revealed state of the
potency of soul
Knowing and Seeing – “Upayoga” – is the inseparable capability of all the soul and functioning
ceaselessly from the beginning-less time and shall be so for endless time. Though it is rooted in the
soul, soul due to its beginning-less ignorance entertains only wrong knowledge and belief of itself.
Our prayer for the New Year Wish: Let all soul be blessed with eternal happiness, equanimity, amity and
let divinity prevail everywhere in the Universe.
In reality: Let us follow as advised by Bhagwan Kund Kund Acharya in one of the concluding Stanzas: 412: of
Samaysar:
Mokkhapahe appanam thavechi tam chev jhahi tam chey / Tattheva vihar niccham ma viharsu annadavesu //
“Establish yourself on the path of Moksha (Liberation), meditate on it,
Experience it, always move into it, and do not move among other things”.

“Ahamek khalu shuddho darshanGnanmayah sadarupi / Napysti mam kinchidpyanyat parmanumatramapi”
Absolutely pure, having the nature of perception and knowledge, always non-bodily, I am indeed unique. Hence not even an
atom of alien things whatsoever
(Whether living or non-living) is related to me as mine.
Samaysar / Stanza 184:
“Yatha kanakmgnitaptmapi kanakbhavam na tam prityajati / Tatha karmodayatapto na jahati gnani tu gnanitvam”
Just as gold, however much it is heated, never loses its natural attributes, so also the right knowing self (soul) “however much
it is burnt by the associated Karmas, does not lose his basic natural attributes of pure knowledge.
Samaysar / Stanza 11:
“Vavaharo abhudattho bhudattho desido du suddhanayo / Bhudatthamassido khalu sammaditthi havadi jivo”.
Vyavhar naya (practical point of view) does not reveal the real (facts)
The Nischay naya (absolute pure point of view) is real, said by the supreme holy
Gurus. A soul that takes the shelter in real pure point of view is one with right
vision / faith.
