Robin Nielsen’s Science Camps (Ages 5-11 yrs)
The San Carlos Science and Creativity Camp program at Laureola Park
returns for an exciting summer. Each camp is a one week program
designed around a general science principle. Campers will engage in
two science projects a day, 10 per week. Projects are of three different
types: Hands-On Projects, Exciting Demonstrations, and Guest
Speakers. All projects are educational and all are extremely fun! While
scientific concepts are introduced in each project, the emphasis is on
“doing” and making science fun. Other daily camp activities include
group games and morning ice breakers. At recess campers are offered
a number of activities including face painting, time with the animals,
lanyards, friendship bracelets, indoor play with LEGO®, fuse beads and
supervised recess outside on the play structure and field. Daily snacks
are provided at recess, but please bring a bag lunch. Lab fees cover
supplies for each camp and are payable to Robin Lise-Nielsen on the
first day of camp. Please, no bikes, skateboards, or scooters.

appreciate the art in nature. We will work with popular media such as crayon,
pencils, watercolor as well as a few off beat types such as solar reactive dyes,
block printing, and color diffusion. Enjoy the simple act of sketching an animal,
coloring complex nature images as well as using chemistry to create interesting
color mixing creations. This camp is a mixture of creativity and science. A $40

rescues the sailor lost at sea? Are these stories true or are they just made
up? We will hear about some true life amazing animal stories that have really
happened. Our projects will focus on something special about each animal
and the story that is told. A $40 lab fee is payable at first class.

program dedicated to teaching kids about the game that we all love. We
focus little on the results of players or games, but instead on the process of
playing the game. Drills, scrimmages, and fun baseball related games
happen daily. We care about the baseball related futures of campers, but
more importantly concentrate on the positive experience that playing
baseball can bring to a child including the following: Teamwork, Building
Confidence, Discipline, Developing New Skills, and Building New Friendships.
T-SPORTS is unique because we accommodate first time players, as young
as 5 years old, up to high school level players. We do this by focusing on the
building blocks of Hitting, Fielding, Pitching, and Running with small groups
according to skill level. In addition to the basics, we teach advanced aspects
of the game if players are ready and willing.

MTA QuickStart Tennis Camp (Ages 4-10 yrs)
McKenney Tennis Academy features an inviting, comprehensive summer
program designed for youth to learn tennis, refine their skills and have a great
time playing. The camp focuses on students’ growth athletically, socially, and
emotionally. Drills and games strengthen agility, balance and coordination
(ABC’s). MTA reinforces important life lessons, such as hard work, effort and
friendship, based on the principles of John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success.
Instructors adhere to the USTA-sanctioned QuickStart program using lowpressure balls and smaller court sizes appropriate to age and skill level. More
advanced students will play on full-size courts, increase conditioning and
prepare for tournament play. Students grouped based on level.

World Cup Soccer Camps (Ages 5-13 yrs)
Since 1991 World Cup Soccer Camps and Clinics has set
the standard of excellence for youth soccer camps
and classes. With an emphasis on instruction, your
child will receive the highest level of attention in
a fun and safe environment. Our morning sessions
are dedicated to technical training and developing
skills. We create many touches on the ball to make it
exciting and to improve your child’s game. Half days
conclude with small-sided games. In the afternoons we play games where
we work on tactics and positioning. All our coaches are skilled players, great
with children and love to teach. With a 1 to 10, coach to player ratio, we are
able to focus on high-quality and individualized training. Your child will be a
better player after camp while having a lot of fun.
