The Samaritan Medical Center Foundation was established in 1996 to encourage gifts that support and advance healthcare provided by Samaritan Medical Center and to increase the public’s awareness of and participation in health and wellness programs. Funds raised by the Festival of Trees will be used to establish and maintain quality pediatric healthcare services and programs at Samaritan Medical Center. Additionally, Samaritan has been a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) affiliated hospital since 1990. CMN funds are used to provide direct assistance to families with children in a medical crisis and to purchase state-of-the-art pediatric equipment for Samaritan and other healthcare organizations throughout Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties. The hallmark of CMN is that 100% of the funds raised stays in our local community.
