The winners of the inaugural Northern Ireland Wedding
Awards are announced:
Romantic Venue of the Year Overall went to
Belle Isle Castle (Fermanagh).
On Monday evening the Europa Hotel, Belfast welcomed over 200 attendees
from across Northern Ireland in a celebration of the Wedding Industry.
Romantic Venue of the Year North East went to
Breckenhill (Ballycare).
The Northern Ireland Wedding Awards is very much a celebration of local
businesses. Winners are a true reflection of quality and customer service, as
chosen by members of the general public.
Presenter, Pamela Ballantine was the host for the black tie ceremony, where
service providers from across the wedding sector were present to celebrate
the industry which makes our wedding days the best they can be.
“We are honoured and delighted to have such great finalists and winner
representing the wedding industry and enhancing its reputation nationally
and internationally. As the industry continues to thrive, we hope to
encourage more people to get involved and the public to reognise their hard

With twenty one accolades presented on the night, the winners are:
Specialist Wedding Supplier of the Year went to
Peter’s Photobooth (Belfast).
Wedding Entertainment of the Year went to
Gaz Entertainment (Newtownards).
Honeymoon/Holiday Planner of the Year went to
Orr’s Travel (Holywood).
Event Decorator of the Year went to
Charm Wedding Studio (Belfast).
Bridal Make Up Specialist of the Year went to
Rebecca Saulters Make up (Belfast).
Local Wedding Exhibition of the Year went to
Wedding Show at Everglade Hotel by Perfect Bliss Wedding Events
(Londonderry).
Wedding Coordinator of the Year went to
Weddings at Tiffany’s (Belfast).
Groomswear Supplier of the Year went to
McCartan Bros (Newry).
(the remaining categories were split into five regions, with regional winners
and one overall winner)
