Lagoon. Thanks to the fact that the Venetian Republic was a major sea power and a staging
area for the Crusades, as well as a very important centre of commerce (especially the
spice trade) and art in the Renaissance, Venice has become the beautiful city we can visit
nowadays.
We can also provide you with a private boat, so that you can easily reach some little islands
located in the Venetian Lagoon, such as Burano, Torcello and Murano, the last one famous
