Enjoy a morning walking tour of this great city, including an
exclusive visit to the Vasari Corridor. Originally built as
an ornate passage for De’ Medici family, the corridor spans the
length of the Ponte Vecchio, connecting the Uffizi Galleries to
the Pitti Palace. This evening, luxuriate in a gala dinner at
the famous Palazzo Corsini, located on the banks of the
Arno River.
The day starts with a drive to Chianti, located in the heart of
the Tuscan wine country, where you will be swept away in
an array of multi-colored hot air balloons. Catch fantastic
views of the rolling countryside while you roam the clear blue
skies. Afterwards, indulge in a traditional outdoor champagne
brunch.
Travel to Padua where you will have a guided tour of the recently
restored and remarkable Scrovegni Chapel. Continue
the day in comfort and style as you make your way to the worldfamous Venice.
After a morning guided tour of the city, embark on a true
Venetian experience as a professional gondolier teaches
you how to row a real gondola in the shallow canal waters.
As a finale, you will be serenaded by a group of accordion
players and singers.
This morning you travel across the Po Valley of Italy to the
sunny shores of the Italian Riviera. Just outside of Imperia, you
will board a private sailboat for a two-day immersion
culinary course.
