A performance play by
Mai Ghoussoub
It is a damp and windy night. Bullet and
his fellow fighters occupy a house full of
silent memories. Soon the house they
have invaded bursts from its quiet
emptiness and the rooms rumble with
energetic male voices.
Would things have been different if once,
only once, a tender voice had whispered
‘Once upon a time’ in Bullets ears? Or is a
young man’s behaviour doomed to be
shaped by the spirit of his group?
