Blackpool illuminations trip
Blackpool illuminations trip
The coach trip to Blackpool organised by DEAFvibe on the 10th
October went really well. Everyone had a good time. The coach
had wheelchair access and Naomi said it was very good. On the
way we all chatted together and caught up with each other's
news. Once we arrived at Blackpool, everyone did their own
thing. Some went to the fair, others went up to the tower and
Madam Tussards. Improvements have been made to the
promenade and there are new trams otherwise it was still the
same, busy with lots to see and plenty of places to eat. While we
all got back to the coach, everyone was talking about what they
had done and how much they had enjoyed themselves. The
illuminations were spectacular showing colourful displays of such
things as the Tardis, cartoon characters and clowns. The trams
were decorated and lit up as a western cowboy train and sailing
boat, the tower was also illuminated. Everyone said how much
they enjoyed themselves and it was good to get away from
everything a good break and we're looking forward to the next
trip. The object of the trip was to get deaf, partially hearing
and deafblind people together to relax and help to boost
confidence specially to the people who have just started to lose
hearing. I think we achieved this. We would like all like to
thank Julie Hart for organising such a good day out.

We had GREAT time at Blackpool with
DEAFvibe group! When we arrived, I went
with Gareth, my husband and cousin Aimee..
Andy, Rory, eddy and Amanda went with us.
We went up to Blackpool Tower and Wax
Works and I had a brilliant time. The
weather was perfect, it was a warm day!
Also we were on the coach to see the
illuminations and the traffic was busy and
slow. We arrive at Bradwell about 11pm.

Myself and my two girls faye and Evie thoroughly
enjoyed the trip to Blackpool with Deafvibe group.I
thought the trip was planned out perfectly we had
plenty of time to access the amenities we wanted to.
We spent some quality mummy and daughter times
on the beach playing , and girls had a ride on a
donkey, they went on the fair rides it was all so much
fun! I will forward to some more trips. Thank you
Deafvibe for enabling me to access a great day out
with such great and wonderful people.

I recently went on the trip to Blackpool with
DEAFvibe. I really enjoyed the trip, as I have not
been since I was a child. When I was in Blackpool
I went to the Blackpool Tower and Madame
Tussaud's.In Blackpool tower, I enjoyed the 4d
experience and then walked along the glass floor
of the tower which was scary at first. Then in
Madame Tussauds, I enjoyed having my photo
taken with various celebrities like Bet Lynch and
Peter Andre. Going home, the lights were good,
but it took a long time to get to see them. I want
to thank Julie Hart and DEAFvibe for organising
the trip and to Copelands Travel for driving us
there and back safely.
