which prove on collation to be defective in illustrations or text, provided
such defects are not mentioned, may be returned by the buyer. The
sale will then be set aside providing:

time of the sale.
2. They are returned within seven days after the conclusion of the
sale.

with brown and faded blue tasselled cord, in its leather

collar with a steel screw thread, 20cm diameter
(repaired).
Note: These crowns are believed to have been
awarded to ships of the Royal Navy in recognition of
conspicuous actions.

mount engraved '25' to a raised cartouche.

Note: These figures were deployed to stand at the
corner angles of the recruiting office as it travelled
around the West Country. A copy of a photograph
showing them in situ at the Bath & West Show in
Taunton, in 1935, accompanies the lot.

and 'B.R. Egypt 1944'; and a Great War Princess Mary
tin, lacking contents, (3).
Note: Major Lang was in charge of captured Italian
prisoners in North Africa, and by family repute the two
aluminium items were made by the Italian prisoners
and given to him in 1944.

approved of the award of the Military Cross to the
following officer T./Sec lieut. Tom Heap, Ches R.- He
took command of a raiding party after the officer in
command had been killed early in the operation. He
led his men to the final objective with great dash and
determination, under heavy fire, and carried out a
withdrawl in a most skiful manner. He showed
splendid leadership and courage', 34cm x 40cm,

REMOVAL OF GOODS FROM SALEROOM
