The NCC (National Caravan Council) represents
the interests of the caravanning industry (including
Tourers, Motorhomes and Static Caravans).
It works with its members to ensure that all
Parks within the caravan industry deliver
the highest quality.
What does NCC approval mean?
The NCC launched the “Approved Holiday Park Holiday Home Ownership Scheme” to champion
the rights of Holiday Home Owners and those
looking to buy in the future. A Consumer Code
of Practice lies at the heart of the scheme. Park
Resorts have been independently assessed to
confirm we comply.
The main principles of the code
are to:
• Treat consumers fairly
• Provide greater consumer protection and rights
than required by law
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction
• Monitor customer satisfaction for continuous
improvement

Can I...? What if...? Is there...?
Typical questions that our customers ask us when they enquire about Holiday
Home ownership or when they visit the Park...
Can my friends and family visit me?
Can I let my Holiday Home out privately?
Yes - of course. As an Owner you’ll receive 8
Privilege Cards which entitle you, family and friends
to use all the facilities on Park. Extra passes can
also be purchased from the Owners’ team.
Yes, We understand that you might want to let your
Holiday Home out yourself or even just to friends
and family and this is okay by us. The Holiday
Home you decide to purchase may even be of an
age that is too old for us to let for you.
Private holiday letting is also an option if your
Holiday Home doesn’t fit the criteria for our letting
scheme. (Admin and key handling charges apply.)
However we can organise this for you through our
Holiday Letting Programme.
Can I choose the location of my Holiday Home?
Yes, you’ll have a choice of the pitch locations which
are available when you buy your Holiday Home.
Do I have to change my Holiday Home
every 5 or 10 years?
No, not at all. Unlike many other operators, our
Owners can enjoy their Holiday Home for as long as
they like. The only thing we ask is that Owners keep
to the Park rules, pay the annual pitch fees and keep
it looking presentable.
Can we bring our dog?
Dogs are welcome at Park Resorts although we
reserve the right to refuse certain breeds. If your dog
stays in your Holiday Home it will affect the letting
grade should you decide to sublet with us.
Can I live in my Holiday Home?
Park Resorts Parks are not residential Parks which
means you can’t live in your Holiday Home all year
round - though we would understand you wanting
to! However, you may occupy your Holiday Home
all year round, within your specified holiday season
and pitch agreement, which gives you plenty of
time to plan lots of holidays and lots of short
breaks, whenever you choose, but you must have a
permanent residential address elsewhere.
What additional costs are there on top of
purchasing our Holiday Home?
As with any Holiday Home there are running costs.
These include pitch fees, local rates, insurance,
gas and electricity.

We are all about flexibility at Park Resorts which is why we have a range of ways to
pay. This means that you can choose the best payment method to suit you and your
family. Some of our customers use their savings to purchase but the majority take
advantage of one of the funding options that we offer.
Deposit
A small deposit (at least 10%) will be required to
complete the purchase of your new Holiday Home
and preferred pitch. Moving in is quick too, you could
be in within a week!
