Design Brief Koalabi Australia is on the hunt for a new boot! This boot can be as simple or as ‘out there’ as you like. The only limitation is your imagination. Aim: to create an amazing new kids boot... It can have buttons, laces, crystals or even Velcro. Most importantly - have fun! Option 1 • Design a boot for a child aged 1-6 years old • Can be for a boy, girl or unisex • Height can be either: -Ultra Short -Classic Short Option 2 • Design a boot for someone aged 7 years old and up • Boot can be for male, female or unisex • Height can be either: - Ultra Short - Classic Short - Classic Tall Prize: The winning design will go into production and the winner will receive the first pair of the boots they designed (approx. value $299). The designer’s username will be put on the tag of the boot. Ultra Short Classic Short Classic Tall How to Enter Print out your Design an Ugg Boot information pack and read through it (with your parent or guardian, if you are under 18 years old). Using the ugg boot template, start creating your designs. Once you are ready to submit your design (or designs) fill in the information entry form. Send us your design entry form, your design (or designs, if you did more than one) and your parent’s permission, if necessary. The promoter of this competition is Binder Production Pty Ltd, 1 Keys Road, Moorabbin, Victoria, 3189. 2. By entering the Livewire “Design an Ugg Boot” competition, you agree to accept these terms and conditions. Information about prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions. 3. Entry is open to existing members of Livewire.org.au. 4. The Livewire “Design an Ugg Boot” competition starts on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 8.00pm and concludes on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11.59pm. The winners will be decided on Friday, March 30, 2012, by Binder Production management. 5. For your chance to win the first pair of ugg boots produced from your own design (valued at $299), submit your design by the due date. Please note that there is no element of chance, as this is a skill based competition. 6. All valid entries will be entered into the competition. Binder Production Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for late or lost entries. 7. Binder Production Pty Ltd may decide entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions are invalid. 8. The winners will be sent their prize within six months of being told of their win (due to production and development times). Total prize value is $299. 9. The winners will be told within seven days of Friday, March 30, 2012 by email and/or by phone. The winner’s username will also be posted on livewire.org.au. 10. The Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 11. The prizes cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash. 12. Binder Production Pty Ltd reserves the right to request the winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Binder. 13. Binder Production Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 14. Binder Production Pty Ltd may cancel, suspend or vary the competition if for any reason it is not capable of being conducted as planned, subject to the approval of the NSW Dept of Gaming & Racing, and ACT Gambling and Racing Commission. 15. If the winning design is in deemed incompatible or unsuitable for production as is, Binder Productions will work with the winner of the “Design an Ugg Boot” competition to re-develop their design to a quality suitable for production. 16. All non-winning entrants will receive a Livewire prize pack to the value of $20. 17. All entries must be original works that do not infringe the rights of any third party. 18. All entries become the property of Binder Production, and grants Binder Production Pty Ltd, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. Entrants agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use and warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights.
