well as the company’s tried and true
favorites – the classics.
The emphasis on the company and
the people of the company shown in
this year’s catalog marks a fresh
start for the 58 year old company.
The cover feature of the buildings
here in Bennington is designed to
invite visits. The group photo of the
entire company underlines the fundamental fact: these are the people who
make all the pottery in the catalog
and they would love for two things to
happen. They would love to show off
their work and how it is done, and
they would love to thank everyone
personally for supporting an
American craft pottery and its potters.

of his company have taken his brainchild – Potters Yard and the pottery
works – and his designs, hundreds of
them – and his decisions, thousands
and thousands of them – and made
them their own, conserved, rearranged and changed them. It is a
thing to see and they are proud of it.
It is worth the trip to Bennington.
