Harrison’s have been manufacturing flagpoles and banner poles since the early 1970’s.
From our first timber poles to our current comprehensive range of glassfibre, aluminium
and stainless steel we take great pride in the quality of our products.
As you would expect from a leading flagpole manufacturer we ensure all of our poles
are supported by structural calculations and meet the applicable national wind speed
standards in Europe, the USA and Asia. We understand that safety is of paramount
importance and our technical team will always be on hand to advise on specification
and appropriate size based on individual site conditions and location.
In addition to our standard range of flagpoles we specialize in the production of custom
made flagpoles and banner poles offering a full design, manufacture and installation service.

Glassfibre Flagpoles
Harrisons’ have over 30 years experience in manufacturing the
highest quality glassfibre flagpoles in the industry. The strength,
performance and durability of our flagpoles ensure we remain the
preferred choice of many architects and specifiers throughout
the world.
Pound for pound our glassfibre flagpoles are stronger than both
steel and aluminium. We use a UV resistant gelcoat finish to give a
high gloss sheen which requires minimum maintenance throughout
the long life of the flagpole. Beneath this gelcoat, every pole is
made up of resin rich layers of woven and chopped glass fibres.
Our standard poles are available in sizes up to 18m (60ft) and all
popular sizes are held in stock for quick delivery. Non standard
poles and/or coloured poles can be supplied to order.
Our product range comprises a variety of rigged and wall mounted
flagpoles (see examples on page 4). We also carry a
comprehensive range of accessories, in stock, which include
finials, ground collars, security systems (ie Guardlock internal
halyard) and swivel arms.
Our heavy duty, hot dipped galvanised steel, four bolt hinged baseplates make installation and
maintenance easy - and provide a robust and secure base for poles of any size. Other ground
fixing methods include ground sleeves and ground spikes.

Glassfibre Flagpole Guarantee

We guarantee that all hinged ground mounted glassfibre flagpoles which have been properly installed according to our instructions will withstand
winds of up to 100mph while flying a flag of not more than 25% of the poles height in length. Damage resulting from vandalism or other hazards
are not covered by this guarantee. Freight, fittings, accessories, installation and materials are not covered by this guarantee and are the liability
of the client.
When looking at prices between different suppliers, compare the naked flagpole weights quoted. Lighter poles use less glassfibre and have
thinner walls. They are less durable and are more likely to break. Harrisons poles are guaranteed because they use thicker walls, a wider
taper and four bolt steel bases.

Aluminium Flagpoles
Streamline
Streamline
Our aluminium flagpoles are manufactured from 6063 T6 aluminium to ensure long life and durability in all weather
conditions. Complete with hinged base plate, ground sleeve or wall brackets all poles have a satin brush seamless finish.
For a virtually maintenance free finish all heights are also available in an anodised or powder coated finish. Accessories
include a finial, saddle, halyard, cleat or internal halyard system for added security.
The HBS Streamline model is available up to 9m in length and suitable for external halyard only. The streamline is
available with ground sleeve, hinged base plate or wall brackets.
The HBS Superform model is created in heavier duty aluminium with a wider taper making it more suited to exposed
locations. The Superform flagpole is available in heights up to 25m.

Stainless Steel Flagpoles
All Harrison Stainless Steel flagpoles are manufactured from seamless high grade
stainless steel and finished with a continual taper and highly polished surface. When
installed the flagpoles are virtually maintenance free offering lifelong service. Our
stainless steel poles do not stain, corrode or rust due to their chromium content
which makes the steel impervious to air and water.
Not only are the flagpoles beautiful to look at but they offer great strength and rigidity.
Our stainless range are designed to withstand wind speeds exceeding 80mph when
correctly installed.
All the stainless range comes complete with a stainless steel finial, rotating saddle
and internal winch mechanism offering ease of operation and security.
Ground fixing is by either hinged or fixed base plate and ground rods. For full
foundation requirements see the table on page 10.

Harrison Banner Poles are a high quality external display system
designed to last a lifetime. Manufactured from tapered aluminium
or parallel steel depending on the strength required, our banner
poles are built to withstand wind speeds up to 100 mph.
Harrison carry in stock two standard heights and three standard
banner styles as illustrated on page 12.
Outside of our standard range we specialize in the design and
creation of custom made banner poles such as those illustrated.
All banner poles are designed with safety in mind and come with
supporting structural and technical calculations including
foundation and installation details.

Wall Mounted Banner Poles
Harrison's wall mounted banner poles are made with durability and longevity in mind. Made from hot dip galvanised steel, stainless steel or aluminium our tensioned banner
arms are designed to prevent banners twisting and distorting in windy conditions. Two arm lengths available; 1 metre arm suitable for banner sizes 75cm-90cm width x 2m-3m
high. 1.5m arm suitable for banner sizes 1m-1.5m wide x 2m-3m high. All our banner poles are manufactured by our own experienced staff and carry a 10 year warranty. They
come complete with all accessories and installation instructions. Subject to correct installation all our banner arms are designed to withstand windspeeds up to 100mph.

standard powder coated colours, black, grey & white.

For the very best finish we recommend our own inhouse printed and sewn

Our decorative banner arms come complete with
scrolling metalwork, gold coloured orbs, tensioning
banner bars and are available in three powder coated
standard colours, black, silver and white.
