The New &
Improved
In response to feedback, we have been working hard to develop a
new and improved site that is more reliable and efficient, gives
you even more information including more loan status details, and
has a new look, feel and navigation that makes the whole site
more user-friendly.
Visitor
Friendly
The site features a visitor section where borrowers and new
Brokers not yet accredited with HomeSide can retrieve basic
information about us and our products.
Informative
We have expanded the amount of information that you can
retrieve on a loan so that at any time you can find out exactly
which stage your application is at.
Secure
Security to the site has been increased to more fully protect your
information and your borrower's information. This means a new
User Id and new Password conventions for all brokers and
solicitors.
Convenient
The site now features all of HomeSide's forms in a down-loadable
and printable format for your convenience.
Innovative
We have introduced the capability to go the specific File
Information page on BrokerNet from a loan alert e-mail.
Support
Your Broker Alliances Manager is able to assist you with most
general enquires about the site including resetting your password.

HOME PAGE
Home Page
Welcome to your personalised HomeSide Home Page. Now that
you have logged in, the web-site has recognised your profile and
you are now able to move freely around the site.
What's New
On your Home page you will find links to the latest Stop Press
articles from HomeSide, bringing you instantly up-to-date with the
latest news, information & tips.
Quick Links
There are some animated 'Quick Links' on your Home Page that
allow you to access some our most frequently used pages at the
click of a mouse, rather than navigating through menu options to
find them. They include:
1. Find a Loan - this takes you to a quick search for a particular
loan, where you can enter the file no. or the surname for that
loan.
2. Update Loan Alert Profile - this takes you directly to the Loan
Alert page, which allows you to dictate when, & how you are
automatically messaged for updates on your loan application's
progress. For further information on the Loan Alert system,
contact your Broker sales Manager.
Side Menu
The menu down the left-hand side of the page lists the pages you
can access. Hover your pointer over the individual menu items,
some of them have sub-menus to choose from.
Top Menu
The top menu features a new log-out option, which has been
introduced to further increase the security of the site. When you
have finished using the site, simply click on Logout to conclude
your access. The top menu also includes a Home link, which will
always bring you back to your Home Page, and a Contact Us
option.
APPLICATION PROGRESS
Hover your pointer over this menu option to reveal the submenus: Find a File and
Run a Report.
Find a File
Run a Report
Find A File is useful when you are after one particular file and you
know the File Number and/or the surname of the primary
borrower.
Tailor My Own Report
This section allows you to retrieve lists of loans that match certain pre-set
categories, including:
1.
2.
3.
4.
Pending Approval
Conditionally Approved
Unconditionally Approved
Settled.
These one-click searches bring up a list of matching loans, and from this list you
can access detailed information on individual loans.
This option allows you to tailor a search to your own requirements, and find loans
that match your own set criteria. The snapshot below is an example of what we call
a "Power Search".
Using this function you are able to create reports on whatever criteria you wish eg.
products, current & historical loan status, or any combination of these criteria. When
you have selected your criteria, click on Search and you will be taken to your search
results.
Search
This page lists the results of your search. Your search criteria results
will be indicated at the top of the page for your convenience. A
summary of the loans is provided in this list. For more detailed
information on a particular loan, click on the File Number for that loan,
which will link you to the File Information for that loan.
Note, when you hover your cursor over the surname of the borrower,
a pop-up balloon will appear giving you the full name of the primary
borrowers.
Loan Details
We have expanded the functionality of the site to include much
more detail on your loans so that you can track their progress
more efficiently. The File Information page is specific to an
individual loan and lists all the information you need on that loan in
the one spot. You can navigate to different sections of the page by
clicking on the links at the top & bottom of the page.
The page is broken up into the following sections:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.

View Related Files which brings you to a list of all the other files
associated with the current file for this borrower eg. other products
or loan accounts. There is also an option to resend a loan alert for
that file. A button which takes you directly to the right contact email
address at HomeSide to find out about loan status queries is also
in this section.
Approvals
When the loan reaches a status in the Approval section, that
milestone will be denoted by a 'tick'. When the loan is in Approval
In Principle status, you have the option of printing off an Approval
In Principle Letter, for your borrower to use as evidence of our
Approval in Principle if required eg. if they wish to attend an
auction. You are also able to do the same for an Unconditional
Approval, simply click on the button to view it.
Outstanding
Documentation This section allows you to see what documentation (if any) that
HomeSide still need you to provide for this particular application to
enable it to proceed. Outstanding items are denoted by a 'red

and those that are not applicable are denoted by a 'blue light'.
File Notes
File notes are those entered by HomeSide staff for internal
tracking of the loan & to record extra information. This section has
been included purely for your information to assist you with
tracking a loan and the notes are not to be used as a formal
source of status information. If at anytime you have a query about
the contents of the notes, please call your HomeSide Broker Sales
Manager or Broker Support to discuss them. A glossary of
abbreviations has also been added for you to easily understand
any shortened terms.
Solicitor’s Notes These notes are entered by HomeSide staff and the assigned
Solicitor and relate to settlement information. The snapshot below

for a loan application
