This program is intended to reward those Dealer Managers that most influence Accessory Sales.
Enrollment: All enrollment selections made during the previous 2016 GM Accessories Sales Manager
Bonus Programs will automatically carry over for the September program. Enrollment changes can be made
via the GM earnPOWER site, located in GM Global Connect.
Program Period: September 1-30, 2016
How it works: Dealer Managers who qualify under the GM Accessories Sales Manager Bonus Program
will qualify for a payout in earnPower Rewards only if the dealership meets or exceeds the following for the
month of September:
1. LEVEL 1 SALES MGR. BONUS: $15 per eligible delivery
Dealerships that achieve Level 1 will earn a payout equal to $15 per eligible delivery during the
Program Period. To earn a payout under Level 1, the Dealer must meet or exceed the Dealership’s
Accessories Sales Objective for the month of September 2016.
OR
2. LEVEL 2 SALES MGR. BONUS: $20 per eligible delivery
Dealerships that achieve Level 2 will earn a payout equal to $20 per eligible delivery during the
Program Period. To earn a payout under Level 2, the Dealer must meet or exceed both (i) the
Dealership’s Accessories Sales Objective for the month of September 2016, AND (ii) the Dealership’s
New Vehicle Retail Sales Objective for the month of September 2016.

*September 2016 Accessories objectives are based on specific criteria; Dealer objectives are determined by combining all divisional objectives within the BAC.
**Accessories Dealer Bonus Payout potential is based on Level 1 or 2 attainment, multiplied by September Eligible Deliveries. September Eligible Deliveries are SFE eligible
deliveries delivered and reported in September, per the 2016 GM Sales Calendar. Variations between New Vehicle Retail Sales Actual and September Eligible Deliveries may
be due to SFE eligibility filters.

Best Practice: Richard Chevrolet
Richard Chevrolet has had an incentive plan for selling accessories in the Sales
Department for quite some time. They are successful in hitting their GM monthly
objectives and the Sales Manager Bonus program points.
Recently the Richard Chevrolet Sales Manager Angelo Epifano and VO TSM Bill Van
Huysen spec’d out two 2016 Silverados for display mannequins to sell off of and sell.
They selected 1500 models that have the best GM incentive programs (leases/cash/
APR) for the time, while keeping the truck MSRP between $43-$46,000 before adding
accessories.
When selecting the accessories, they focus on those that not only have eye appeal
and what folks want, but on the Hard Adds that have lease residual values. This really
helps them arrive at great payments for their clients.
This time they dressed up a Tungsten double cab with 22" Chrome CK158 Wheels, the
Wheel Flares, Black Oval Assist Steps, Bedliner, Black Bowtie Emblems, and Front and
Rear Floor Liners. The second truck is a Black Double cab with 22” Black Wheels with
Black Center Caps, Black Bowtie Emblems, Chrome Bodyside Molding, Chrome Mirror
Covers, and the REV® Hard Rolling Tonneau Cover.
Angelo at Richard Chevrolet is very successful at getting the sales staff involved with
selecting the trucks and the accessories so they are excited to sell them. Well done,

in the fourth quarter, down from last month’s forecast of $2.07 a gallon according to the agency’s short-term energy
