to members and suppliers, Amerinet has several initiatives that can
help suppliers create new customer and revenue opportunities.
Quality and Safety
Amerinet Quality Solutions is designed to meet the
unique and demanding needs of patient safety officers,
risk managers, quality improvement staff and nursing
administration professionals. This program specifically
highlights contracts and suppliers providing quality and
safety solutions through tools including contract updates
and the Amerinet QualityTouch newsletter.

Alternate Care (Non-Acute)
Amerinet partners with key suppliers and distributors to
identify and implement innovative solutions that increase
organization efficiency and help advance performance
objectives for alternate care members. This program
specifically highlights contracts and suppliers to this fast
growing market, offering greater market potential and
increased sales for your products and services.
GreenCare
Recognizing the importance of “greening” the healthcare
supply chain, Amerinet has taken the lead in providing
environmentally preferable purchasing (EPP) educational
resources to staff and members and continually reviews
the Amerinet portfolio for opportunities to enhance
EPP coverage to its membership. Amerinet is currently
offering more than 66,000 green purchasing options,
which are listed on the member resources section of
the Amerinet website. Green alternatives are available
in virtually all product and service areas, including
energy efficiency, waste reduction, mercury alternative
and recycling, package efficiency, green cleaners and
recyclable or compostable products.
Niche and New/Emerging Technology
Amerinet desires to provide an opportunity for all
interested niche and new/emerging technology companies
to work with Amerinet and its members. These include

niche or unique/different products (compared to existing
products on contract) in the market place and
new/emerging technology.
Supplier Diversity
Amerinet firmly believes that minority-owned and womenowned businesses are the cornerstones of economic
development. The Amerinet Supplier Diversity Program
works to solidify that foundation and create increased
opportunities for these businesses.
Amerinet fosters business relationships with Historically
Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) where it supports and
reflects the needs of the membership. In addition, those
contracted Amerinet suppliers that do business with HUB
suppliers will be viewed as providing additional value to
Amerinet members.
To be considered for a 1st Tier position, a HUB must
provide market competitive pricing and/or service and
support and provide a purchase advantage for Amerinet
members. Amerinet also cultivates HUBs by linking them
with Amerinet supplier partners interested in HUB business
development. HUBs not interested in a direct contracting
relationship might provide a finished product or service
that is incorporated into the offering of another Amerinet
supplier partner, thus benefiting from the national presence
of their new partner.
Disaster Preparedness
In times of emergency or natural disaster, Amerinet
has been proactive in keeping members and suppliers
connected. Through direct and constant contact with
members during times of crisis, Amerinet representatives
keep awareness of our capabilities and resources top of
mind for these additional emergency opportunities.

Amerinet Savings Roadmap is a pathway to identify

AccuPrice
AccuPrice is an innovative software tool that allows users

AccuPrice software reviews purchases and submits an audit
report by e-mail to the facility including key elements such
as unfavorable and favorable variances on base as well as tier
pricing programs, enhancing standardization and compliance.

Amerinet BudgetMatch simplifies the budgeting process
by matching a facility’s needs with our capital equipment
portfolio. It generates the hard data needed to help decision
makers make the tough choices easier. Some of the key
benefits include line item contract matching from the
Amerinet capital equipment supplier portfolio, depreciation
schedules of all assets in capital budget, capital allocation
forecasting capabilities, the ability to track actual purchases
as they are made throughout the fiscal year and as much as
18 percent savings on actual equipment purchases.

Amerinet Decision Rx empowers pharmacy members
to reach optimal margin improvements. Decision Rx
highlights suppliers and contracts by spotting trends
regarding the purchase contracts that members tend to use

and tendencies of a wholesaler to fulfill invoices. Then
it finds the top products that represent the majority of

Contracting Levels Supported by Comprehensive Sales and Marketing Resources
To ensure a successful partnership, Amerinet works together with each supplier
to market the company’s products and services.
Amerinet is proud to include the finest suppliers in the healthcare industry in our national network of solutions. To ensure a
successful partnership, Amerinet works together with each supplier to market the company’s products and services. Amerinet
conducts a formal contract launch campaign that includes print and electronic materials for both Amerinet members and sales
representatives, depending on contract level.
Membership Directory – On a monthly basis, suppliers will
receive an electronic listing of all Amerinet member facilities.
Custom member contract listings are available upon request.
Member Conference – Amerinet suppliers have the
opportunity to exhibit at our annual Member Conference.
Representatives from hundreds of Amerinet member facilities
attend this event each year.
Supplier Sales Representatives List – All Amerinet sales
representatives will receive a list of the supplier’s sales
representatives with contact information.
Target Members List – Each supplier will work with
Amerinet to identify target members for each contract. All
Amerinet sales representatives will receive this list.
Competitive Market Assessment – The competitive market
assessment gives Amerinet sales representatives all the
information they need to start selling the supplier’s products.
It explains the competitive environment and detailed strategies
for transitioning members from other suppliers.
Launch iQast – Depending on contract level, the contract
manager will present the contract to the Amerinet sales and
clinical specialist teams via a webcast called iQast through
Inquisit®, Amerinet’s strategic education partner.
Member Communication Brochure – This brochure
introduces the contract, including information about the

product(s), contract benefits and access. All Amerinet sales
representatives receive print versions as sales tools for member
visits. The brochure is posted on the member resources section
of the Amerinet website and distributed to all members via
Amerinet’s Contract News member communication.
Sales Sheet – The sales sheet is a one-page abbreviated
version of the brochure, introducing the contract, including
information about the product(s) and contract benefits. All
Amerinet sales representatives receive copies to distribute at
member visits and tradeshows.
Contract Data Sheet – The contract data sheet provides all
pertinent contract information, including product listing,
pricing, contract benefits and contact information. Members
access the contract data sheet via the member resources
section of the Amerinet website.
Media Announcements – Amerinet works with suppliers on
a brief media announcement for each contract. The media
announcements are distributed to industry print and online
publications.
Contract News – This electronic newsletter is distributed to
all Amerinet members and contains contract update reports,
news about new products and services, environmentally
friendly offerings, quality and safety contracting solutions,
employee access contracts, sales promotions and supplier
sponsored education.

the Amerinet website, healthcare providers access Amerinet
contract information, purchasing history and financial
information. Member resources features spend management
solutions, contract search and sourcing, access to contract
data sheets, online contract access/sign-up, contract update
information, pricing information at item level detail, item-level
savings calculator, contract purchase activity reporting and
market baskets.
Education Opportunities via Inquisit – Suppliers can work
with our education partner, Inquisit, to deliver education to
Amerinet members. Inquisit provides education and training
to more than 15,000 persons each year. You could reach new
customers and partners by working with Inquisit to provide
educational sessions to members.
Testimonials and Success Stories – Amerinet sales
representatives will actively seek member testimonials about
the supplier’s products and services. Testimonials will be
available to all sales representatives for use and may be used in
printed or electronic marketing materials. Success stories are
printed and distributed to our members and are posted to the
Amerinet website.
Press Releases – Amerinet will run press releases about
contracts when they generate significant savings or rebates,
or members report improved outcomes using the supplier’s
products and services.

Supplier Recognition Awards
One way that Amerinet and its suppliers create an environment
to deliver added value for members is by celebrating superior
achievements by suppliers. Every year, Amerinet recognizes its
outstanding suppliers during a special awards ceremony at its
Member Conference. The awards recognize suppliers who deliver
outstanding service, helping our members to reduce costs and
improve quality. Awards are based on sales growth and honor
suppliers in several different size and volume categories.
Amerinet also recognizes suppliers through its “20 Percent Club.”
To qualify, suppliers must have Amerinet contract sales over
$1 million, contracts with Amerinet for at least two years and
20 percent or more growth of posted sales from the previous year.
