From listening to great producers such as Masters At Work, Basement
Boys, Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, DJ Gregory, Karizma, Atjazz
and Boddhi Satva, tearing up the dance floors worldwide. As a result,
it didn't take long to start tearing up the dancefloors himself. Mid 2007,
one of his biggest tracks, “Gabryelle Re-Edit”, hit the UK House
scene. It became a huge success amongst clubs and radio stations
across the globe. The hit was eventually picked up by Defected
Records and got featured on many top quality compilations such
as Ministry Of Sound and Soul Jazz Records.
D-MALICE
In 2010, Malice had his first major single “Poison” released on
Defected Records, featuring amazing vocals by Rebecca Knight.
From then on, D-Malice has kept on releasing music on various global
labels, such as Soul Candi (South Africa), Boddhi Satva's Offering
Recordings (Belgium), Adaptation ( UK) Seasons (USA) and Hed
Kandi (UK).
D-Malice’s first album was released in 2014, featured on South
Africa’s label Soul Candi Records. Producer Series Vol.2 hit the
top 10 charts in South Africa, gaining support from global radio
stations (Ibiza, Amsterdam, Johansburg).
On top of producing music, Malice is a DJ and founder of one UK’s
pioneering Afro/Deep House record labels DM.Recordings. Malice
provides high energy and inspirational sets and never fails to deliver
an electric atmosphere, whether it's at your party or during his monthly
show on Mi-Soul Radio with partner Jonny Miller.
