Candi was born in Riverdale, Georgia, and raised in Texas. She
attended Baylor University for her undergraduate studies and earned
a Bachelor of Arts in both English and Theatre. She earned her Juris
Doctor from the Fordham University School of Law.
Prior to joining Evert Weathersby Houff, Candi worked in New York
C i t y, w h e r e s h e w a s i n v o l v e d i n l a b o r i s s u e s o n b e h a l f o f m a n a g e m e n t ,
as well as the defense of criminal defendants in federal court. Her
diverse experience took her from labor relations arbitrations
surrounded by street protestors, to witness interviews in federal
prisons involving post-9/11 foreign detainees using translators.

At Evert Weathersby Houff, Candi assists with the management of
witness development and trial preparation involving nationwide
asbestos litigation. She is also actively involved in expert witness
and strategy development on a national level.
She is admitted to practice in each of Georgia's trial and appellate
courts as well as the United States District Court for the Northern
District of Georgia. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and
the American Bar Association.
