The PE-190D also comes with a large LCD display panel, enabling designs to

Letters can be adjusted in size from
0.5cm (1/4") to over 2.5cm (1") including
a 1cm (3/8") monogramming size setting.
The PE-190D offers a choice of 10
frame shapes, which can be stitched in
your choice of 12 border styles. Each
frame can be enlarged or reduced as
you wish, to fit your embroidered
design perfectly.

The touch screen allows you to position the design
precisely or even rotate it up to 360 degrees. The
8-direction positioning function allows for flexible,
simple positioning of your designs within the hoop.

Quick Bobbin Setting
The Quick-Set bobbin feature
means that you simply have to drop
in a full bobbin in order to be ready
to sew immediately.
Preview your design displayed on the screen before
beginning the embroidery. The PE-190D even
shows the separate areas of color, and gives an
estimated time for the embroider and suggestions for
thread color.
Needle Threader
The PE-190D uses the F.A.S.T.
needle threading system, which
saves you time and trouble.
The PE-190D stops automatically at the end of each
colored section, to allow rethreading in a different
color. You will find that you have achieved beautiful,
multi-colored embroidery designs in just minutes.

Choose from hundreds of designs offered
in Brother's extensive Embroidery Card
Library. Embroider your choice of patterns
automatically by simply inserting a memory
card into the designated slot.
PE-Design software allows you to
create, edit and digitize your own
designs with the help of a computer.
Then download your designs onto a
reusable blank memory card or save
them to your computer's hard disk or
3.5" floppy disk.
PED-Basic is Brother's exclusive
software for downloading
embroidery designs*** in PES
format from Internet sites and
writing them to a blank Brother
memory card.
Fourteen metallic colored threads made with quality
polyester fiber add sparkle to your embroidery projects.
Ten subtle shades,
perfect for blending into
facial tones, are ideal
for use with the
PHOTOSTITCH feature
in PE-DESIGN.
Collections of high-sheen embroidery thread sets and
soft-sheen country color thread sets are available for
beautiful machine embroidery results. Individual
spools are also available.
The large hoop allows designs to be
embroidered in a larger area
(100 X 172 mm/4" X 6 3/4") without
re-hooping the fabric.
The small hoop lets you embroider
patterns for up to 70 X 70 mm
(2 3/4" X 2 3/4") stitching area.
Brother's own polyester bobbin
thread.
The extra small hoop is for embroidering
small patterns especially monogramming
patterns on pockets and cuffs.
Organizes and secures up to 10 spools
of thread at the rear of the embroidery
machine.
