February is set to be an extremely busy month for Madeira. Once again exhibiting at ModAmont
Paris, the leading international trade show of trimmings and supplies for the fashion industry, while
much closer to home Printwear and Promotion is fast approaching. Our team is really looking forward

AEROSTITCH
This versatile polyester thread has a beautifully smooth, silk matt finish resulting
in a natural cotton effect on embroideries. A special spinning construction
guarantees excellent processing characteristics without loop formation or
thread breakage and can be confidently run at high speeds. Elaborate designs
with complicated stitch sequences are no problem for Aerostitch.

EMBROIDERY TRAINING COURSE
Our popular embroidery training courses are set to
continue throughout 2013, around the UK.
Due to increasing demand we ran two, one day courses
in February on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th, with great
success.

HOW TO USE AVALON?
1. For thin fabric - place the fabric between two layers of Avalon and
stretch taut in the embroidery hoop.
2. For towelling - place the Avalon on top of the looped fabric. This will
greatly improve the embroidery as the thread will lay on top of the loops,
not between them.
3. Stretchy fabric - place the fabric between two layers of Avalon.
4. After completing the embroidery, tear off the Avalon and remove any
excess with a damp brush or steam iron.
5. NB: Do not mist spray or leave embroidery wet as this may cause colours
to run.
