Dining at Resort at Squaw Creek is an elegant and varied affair. We pride ourselves on exceptional service delivered
with unpretentious style, and aim to impress all of our event guests with banquet fare that equals the quality and

On the following pages, you will find our current menus, all of which feature fresh ingredients. From the food to the
cocktails, everything is made from scratch using seasonal fruits and vegetables. This includes all of our breads and
pastries, which are baked from start to finish in our pastry kitchen. We do not use trans fats in any of our menu items,
and are happy to accommodate requests for vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free menus. Please don’t hesitate to ask for
whatever you need.
Executive Chef Jason Friendy upholds the highest culinary standards in all of our kitchens, and expects creativity and
attention to detail from all of his staff. He also strongly believes in sourcing local and regional ingredients whenever
possible. The current menus include local eggs from Tahoe Food Hub, Northern California produce from Produce Plus,
meats from The Sausage Factory in Carson City and Sierra Meats in Reno, chicken and lamb from Petaluma Poultry,
jelly and honey from Steven’s Farmhouse in Yuba City, as well as California produced cheeses including Shaft’s Blue
Cheese and Cowgirl Creamery cheeses. When seasonally available, our menus feature even more locally and regionally
sourced ingredients.

BANQUET POLICIES
We are thrilled you have chosen Resort at Squaw Creek for your event!
Listed below are some guidelines that will assist in making your program successful.
1|
Kindly advise us of your menu selections at your earliest convenience but no later than 30 days prior to your event.
2|
Guarantees are due into the Planning Office 5 days prior to your event and the final attendance guarantee
cannot be decreased within 5 days prior to the event. We will prepare and set 5% over this guarantee, with a
maximum of 20 seats. Should we not receive the guarantee at this time; the expected number of people shown on your
Banquet Event Order will become the guarantee. If your actual count should exceed the 5% overset, the Resort does not
guarantee what the specific extra entrees will be. Cancellation of any catered function within the guarantee period is
subject to full charge.

If your group attendance falls under the menu per person minimum, there will be a surcharge as noted in the Menu.

Split menu choices are limited to two choices plus a vegetarian option. A split choice menu is priced at the higher of the
chosen items. An identifier will be needed for every guest in a split menu situation. Menu selections are due at the
guarnteed time.

The Resort must provide all food, liquor, beer and wine. No food or beverage of any nature may be brought into any
function space.

All payments are due in advance of the function, unless other arrangements have been made.

If the count drops below the contractual guest count, the Resort reserves the right to renegotiate the room rental charges
and/or assign another room.

It is the Resort’s discretion to charge labor for cleanup of excessive trash, glitter or confetti remaining at the conclusion of
an event. Confetti cannons and similar appliances are not allowed.
9| Buffet menus are not designed to provide “Food To Go” Service. We do not permit to-go containers to be set out on any
buffets.

Once meal period is completed all food will be taken away and will not be moved to another location or left out longer.
