ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN THE WORLD
Quality is definitely one of the keywords that better represents Italy all over the world, and warm
hospitality is for sure one of the features that label Italian people. "Italian Style" dining is more than
merely eating, it’s gathering together, sharing and enjoying the unique taste of ingredients cooked
according to the traditional recipes, handed down generation by generation. This cultural experience,
that is a national cultural heritage, must not only be protected but also spread and promoted worldwide.
The “Italian Hospitality Seal” emphasizes the use of genuine Italian products, the offer of authentic
Italian recipes, and the replication of a truly Italian atmosphere in the restaurant. The award aims at
spotting and identifying authentic Italian restaurants in 54 countries in the world.
The first certification dates back to 1997 and since 2010 it has been promoted in China by the
China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC). The project is supported by Unioncamere, together with
the National Institute for Tourism Research (IS.NA.R.T), and five Italian Ministries (Foreign Affairs,
Cultural Heritage, Economic Development, Tourism and Agriculture).
Year after year, following accurate inspections and documents collection, CICC rewards all those
restaurants which are an exceptional example of the versatility and quality of both Italian cuisine and
hospitality. In 2014, 35 Italian restaurants received the award. During the awarding ceremony, CICC
also presented and distributed to all the guests the first edition of the food guide “Authentic Italian
Food Quality Experience”, containing information of all the awarded restaurants in 2014.
“Where can I eat a real pizza Margherita? Where can I taste the best pasta al dente? Where can I go
to make sure that the ingredients are 100% Italians?” The “Italian Hospitality Seal” finally answers all
those questions that Italians (and not only) living abroad have always asked to themselves.

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is a private, not-for-profit association established in
1991 and officially recognized by both the Italian and Chinese governments. CICC works in close
cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Beijing, the Italian General Consulates in Shanghai,
Guangzhou and Chongqing as well as the Italian Trade Commission. It is active in EU-funded projects
supporting the internationalization of SMEs (namely the China IPR SME Helpdesk and the EU SME
Centre). As a Member of Assocamerestero (Association of Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad),
the CICC is linked - both all over the main Countries in the world and in Italy - to the network of the
Italian Chambers of Commerce.

10 Corso Como restaurant is on the top floor of the China's first 10 Corso
Como concept store in Nanjing Road. It's a must see destination during a
day of exploration and cultural sightseeing among the galleries, bookshops,
fashion boutiques sited in the building.
Arriving on the top floor, visitors can visit the art gallery and then wander
through to both the restaurant and the adjoining bar. The restaurant seats

Step into an intimate setting where theatre and food meet. Adopting its
name “First Act” from famous theatrical play, where as early as the 18th

Filippo was born in Tuscany. Like

the hills that surround the city and the one that originated the legend of
Romulus and Remus ,the twins who were suckled by a she-wolf and gave

Specialties and Highlights of the Restaurant
Vincent italian restaurant is Located in Shunde district since 4 years ago, the
chef-patron Vincenzo Mastromatteo with his team provide every day traditional
and authentic italian cuisine to his guests. Since the beginning of the business
activity the main purpose of our chef was the simplicity of the Italian taste
focused on the food quality and the cooking skills. We serve daily dishes as pizza,
pasta, steaks, salads, fishes, seafood and desserts. Our ingredients are directly
imported from Italy and other overseas sources. We arrange buffet, caterings,
happy hour party, celebrations, delivery food, take away, and catering services,
all arranged by our chef. Our restaurant is divided in 2 floors, totally 54 seats, we
have a very well settled wine room and our dining room staff is trained as wine
tasters. Our kitchen is managed, controlled and trained by Vincent, our chef
patron, and our team leader.

following the TRADITIONAL RECIPE, eggs flour and love.
Introducing the Master Chef
Vincenzo Mastromatteo from Como city (Italy) is
our chef owner, he is responsible of our kitchen
and service activities. He is also teacher and
leader of the western cuisine class in the
POLYTECHNIC of SHUNDE and he teaches and
trains 600 students every years. Vincenzo
Mastromatteo was born in Milano on February
9th 1979 from a chef’s family and since the end of
his training school he started to travel around
few countries as Switzerland, Mexico, Russia,
England, China, Spain and of course Italy, getting
experience and training himself as a chef, and
keeping in touch with different food cultures and
different people from everywhere in the world.
