Logging in

Navigate to the TeacherEase website (www.teacherease.com) using your favorite web browser
(Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, etc)
Click the Login button in the top right corner of the webpage
Log in with your username and password (you will receive an email with your username and
password before school starts)
Your main screen should look similar to the following:
Note that if you have multiple students enrolled at Providence, you can change the selection in the
Student dropdown box (top right) to choose which student’s information to view.
Daily Class Schedule
To view what your child’s daily schedule looks like, click the Schedule link on the Main page. You will see
a page like the following:
Note that the third column should always be blank as no official courses should be scheduled for the
Satellite Classroom days.
Assignments and Lessons
To view the assignments and lessons assigned to your child, click the Assignments & Lessons link from
the Main page. This page will display the both the in class assignments as well as the assignments that
are to be completed on the Home Days.
You can change the view mode by selecting Month or All in the Mode dropdown box or simply select a
different week in the date box.
You can also change which class you would like to view assignments for by changing the Class
dropdown.
After selecting Math:
To view details about a particular assignment, click on it in the table:
If a grade has already been assigned, it will show up in the details page:
Student Progress Update
To view the current progress of your child in all classes, select the Student Progress Update link from
the Main page. This page will allow you to view information and grades about each of your child’s
classes. This page will also show any work that has been marked as Missing.
To view more information about a particular class, click the Details link next to the class in the table:
The details page will display all assignments and grades entered for that class as well as any comments
the teacher has added:
You can also click on the assignment name to see more details about that assignment.
Attendance
To view your student’s attendance status, click the Attendance link from the Main page. Any absences
or tardies will be shown here.
Report Cards
Providence Preparatory Academy will release all report cards electronically. Once a report card is
released, you can view it by clicking on the Report Cards link on the main page.
Announcements
Announcements may be sent to parents through the TeacherEase system. These may include
information from teachers, upcoming events, or school closure notices in the event of inclement
weather. You should receive announcements via email but you may also check them through
TeacherEase by clicking the Announcements link on the Main page. You can view an announcement by
clicking on the title.
Send Email to Teachers
You can send email to one of your student’s teachers through TeacherEase by clicking the Send Email to
Teachers link on the Main page. Note that the email will be sent to the teacher as if it came from your
personal email address. Any responses from the teacher will come to your email address. You may also
view a log of all emails sent through TeacherEase by clicking the Email Logs link on the Main page.
Calendar
You can view the school calendar that contains all breaks and holidays by clicking the Calendar link on
the Main page.
Clicking the View Entire Calendar button will allow you to view the calendar for the whole school year
on a single page.
Student Behavior Logs
Teachers use Behavior Logs to communicate with parents about a student’s classroom behavior. These
may be positive or negative comments. To view behavior logs on your student, click on the Behavior
Logs link on the Main page:
