BoreWelder Model 306 Z Series
The 306 Z Series is Bortech’s workhorse product line, designed for
all bore welding applications. The 306 Z Series features include:
Lightweight and portable for field applications
Utilizing the step technology pioneered by Bortech, provides Auto-Skip (for
skipping sections of the bore) and Carriage Return/Pie Mode (for welding sections of
bores, bringing out of round bores back to round)
Can be configured for your toughest MIG and flux core applications
Provides a single point of control for all weld parameters – voltage, amperage,
gas purge, rotation speed, step size and weld direction (when purchased with the
Bortech wirefeeder)
Specifications:
• Available with 6” and 12” stroke lengths
(the Model 306 LS series is available with 18”, 24”, 30” and 36” strokes)
• 175 amps, continuous duty
• ID range:
.5” to 54”
• Step range:
.040” to .220”
• Wire diameter range:
.023” to .045”
• Control Box power requirements: 115VAC 50/60 Hz, or
230VAC 50/60Hz
• Power supply requirements:
300 amp, Constant Voltage
(CV) with remote voltage
and contactor control
Options:
• OD, Face and Conical Seat torches
• Wire Straightener for tight cast wires
