WHO WE ARE
OYATO Designs is a full service clothier that designs and manufactures bespoke apparel for women,
headed by designer, Odunayo Ade. A New York native with deep roots stemming from Western
Nigeria, she fuses her love for West African prints and textiles with her main love of fine arts to create
timeless garments that command attention. Notable past clients such as top models Eva Marcille,
Aminat Ayinde, R&B Divas LA star Lil' Mo and recording artist, Vivian Green have experienced the
affect of wearing an OYATO original and were not disappointed! Odunayo designs to make a woman
experience a different kind of fashion that will be etched in the memory of the client and those who
see her. After all, that is the meaning of OYATO, to be unequivocally different in her native language of
Yoruba.
INTENTION
The purpose of this event is to showcase the new Autumn/Winter 2016 and Spring/Summer 2017
collections in New York City, one of the major fashion capitals in the world!

EVENT OVERVIEW

OYATO Designs will host a runway show to debut its newest collections for the Autumn and Spring
seasons of 2016 and 2017. Guests will be met with a cocktail hour to network with like minded
individuals before the show starts. After a brief introduction from our host, models will walk the
runway and stand as live mannequins on platforms across the room for guests to observe
accompanied with a live musical performance by singer/songwriter YEANKA. A pop up shop feature
will be set up for guests to shop looks from previous collections and goods from vendors we love.
Signature appetizers and desserts catered by a celebrity chef will be given to our guests along with
complimentary gift bags and a surprise giveaway provided by select sponsors.
