Vision for the Future of Chamber: To inspire & create activities &
events that motivate citizens & local business owners to get involved
with our community. To bring a fresh approach to our traditional
events, to design ideas that encourage others to bring the “local” back
to Lindale.
Additional Information: I was born and raised in Lindale which gives
me a strong sense of loyalty and commitment to our community. I
take great pride in being the owner of Lindale Floral Shop. It has been
a privilege to own a business that has served our community for over
65 years. It has given me a deeper appreciation for the citizens of our
town. Not only do I own my own business but I come from a family
of local business owners. My husband Dean A Darr is the owner of
Darr Chiropractic, my late grandparents C.L. & Margaret Lane were
cattlemen and local ranch owners, my father Charles Lane is the
co-owner of Lane’s Fertilizer Service and Lindale Fertilizer, as well
as my brother, Todd Lane who is also co-owner of Lane’s Fertilizer
Service. I feel I am vested in the community not only through my
business but also through my family ties. My exposure to the variety
of businesses in my family has given me a personal knowledge and
understanding of the needs and wants in our community. I feel I am a
passionate and driven individual who wants to use my creative spirit
and knowledge as a local business owner to introduce growth and
involvement in our city.

Additional Information: My past three years on the board has given me
insight into what it means to come along side our membership to make
them stronger. I will be even more dedicated the next three years in

Additional Information: Been in sales 44 years-42 years as manager. Moved to Lindale 5 years ago
and relocated business to Texas. In the past 5 years, I’ve met a lot of business people they now know
me as “the Tupperware Lady.” I have only missed 1 chamber meeting (due to illness) I enjoy attend
and participating in the LACC.
