STANDARD MEASUREMENTS
WOMEN
IMPORTANT:
When selecting pattern size, always be sure to measure over any
clothing that will be worn under your finished garment.
In choosing your correct pattern size, compare your measurements with the measurements given in the standard measurement chart. If your measurements correspond to one size across
the bust or chest and another at the waist and hips, it's easy to
alter one of our multi-sized patterns to correspond to your
measurements. Simply follow the lines on the upper portion of the
pattern which correspond to your chest or bust measurement.
Then gradually taper in or out to the size which corresponds to
your waist and hip measurements. The appropriate amount of
ease has already been added to the pattern—so you need not
worry about adding ease. When purchasing fabric, buy the
amount given for the larger size.
