Corrour Station House Restaurant
Corrour Station House Restaurant
Coire Odhar Estate
Ollie Bennett & Lizzie MacKenzie opened Corrour Station
House Restaurant in August 2012. Our aim? To produce simple
& wholesome food showcasing the array of wonderful
ingredients the Scottish larder has to offer.
With a 17-mile dirt track to negotiate before reaching the main
road and a 70-mile round-trip to collect all supplies, running a
restaurant in a remote spot such as Corrour can often be
logistically challenging.
Here at Corrour we have decided to embrace our challenges and
take the menu back to its roots wherever possible. How did
people live on Corrour 100 years ago? What would the humble
deer stalker’s family eat for their Sunday Lunch?
We have researched Corrour’s past and contacted people who
grew up here many moons ago.
