Corrour Station House Restaurant Coire Odhar Estate Ollie Bennett & Lizzie MacKenzie opened Corrour Station House Restaurant in August 2012. Our aim? To produce simple & wholesome food showcasing the array of wonderful ingredients the Scottish larder has to offer. With a 17-mile dirt track to negotiate before reaching the main road and a 70-mile round-trip to collect all supplies, running a restaurant in a remote spot such as Corrour can often be logistically challenging. Here at Corrour we have decided to embrace our challenges and take the menu back to its roots wherever possible. How did people live on Corrour 100 years ago? What would the humble deer stalker’s family eat for their Sunday Lunch? We have researched Corrour’s past and contacted people who grew up here many moons ago. Here’s what we found….
