matching PP edge
Matching PP edges are available to match a wide range of worktop patterns
across all our ranges. Depending on edging availability, worktops can be
produced in 14mm, 20mm, 26mm, 40mm, 60mm, 80mm and 100mm thicknesses.
All patterns can also be edged with matching laminate, if required.
contrasting edge
The contrasting edges are clear 2mm ABS printed on the reverse to give a striking
3D appearance. Available in 9 patterns, these edges can be applied to any worktop
pattern in 14mm, 20mm, 26mm, 40mm and 60mm thicknesses.
If required, these edges can also be applied to splashbacks, upstands and gables
to match to your worktops.

The Step Profile consists of a 14mm top
section and a 26mm lower section.
The lower section is set back 5mm to
give depth to the profile, although if
required it can be flush with the top
section. Any combination of surface and
edging is possible.

Available in 2 options.
Double 62 consists of 2 layers of 26mm
with a 9mm centre strip.

Laminates’ unrivalled range of options gives designers
ultimate flexibility when planning their kitchens.
Thanks to our extensive bonding facilities we can produce
tops up to 1200mm wide and up to 4000mm in length.
This option allows us to produce larger than usual corner
arrangements so that joints can be moved to accommodate
internal curved corner units.

same kitchen offers an
inexpensive and simple
but effective feature.
The huge popularity of
curved corner units is no
problem to us. With our
CNC edging facilities we can
produce whatever size curve
your units require, whether
internal or external radii or
‘S’ line curved breakfronts.

upstands
All the decors in our pattern ranges can be produced as
matching upstands. With an overall thickness of 14mm
(Formica – 11mm) and edged all round in matching
laminate, they are a perfect way to finish off the back of
the worktops with only a minimal effect on the cost of the
overall design.
Combining matching upstands with a contrasting back
panel is one more way of adding a special feature to a
kitchen.
If required, upstands can also be edged in the contrasting
ABS edges to match your worktop choice.

splashbacks
Splashbacks are an excellent way
of finishing the back wall of any
kitchen. Simple and quick to fit,
they provide a uniform look when
matching to the worktops and a dash
of colour when used as a contrast.
The vivid high gloss colours of the
Formica AR+ range work particularly
well as a feature colour.
Splashbacks can be made in any decor from
our pattern ranges. The maximum width of a
panel is 1200mm, but maximum length varies
according to range as follows.
Duropal - up to 4000mm
Axiom - MAT & CR finishes - up to 4000mm
All other finishes - up to 3600mm
Formica - up to 3000mm
Egger - up to 3000mm
Splashbacks have an
overall thickness of
14mm (Formica – 11mm)
and can be edged
on any side to your
requirements. Shaped
splashbacks can also be
produced. Particularly
useful when fitting under
a curved cooker hood.
Using a splashback as the
background for a feature such
as shelving creates the look
of built-in furniture whilst still
retaining the pattern match to
your worktops.

Nothing beats worktops with matching gables to frame a
set of units and give a sense of structure, especially in the
thicker options.
We can produce gables to match all our worktop profiles, as
well as panels for use as plinths to complete the look.
Use gables either side of a break front design to make a
feature of the central units.
windowsills
We can produce 26mm thick windowsills
in all our pattern ranges. The front profile
can be postformed in either bullnose or
standard profile, or finished in any of our
edgings to match your worktops.
If required, a drop front can be added to
bring the sill down to your worktop surface.
Ideal for a situation where the gap between
the worktop and sill is relatively small.

solid wood worktops
We offer 40mm thick timber worktops in the four
main timbers - Oak, Walnut, Beech and Iroko.
To produce a modern 'chunky' look to breakfast
bars, gables etc, we can join 2 pieces together to
produce an 80mm section. This extra depth allows
deep profiles to be routed into the edge to produce a
traditional looking top, particularly popular for an island
arrangement in country style kitchens.
Thanks to the success of the curved base units, a recent
development is the appearance of plant-on tops. Worktops
with partial rebates to the underside can be fitted over a
variety of other worktops to create a striking feature in an
island arrangement.
All our timber is FSC certified, sourced from suppliers
operating sustainable manufacturing processes.

Additional technical information regarding lengths and widths available and guidelines for ordering products are contained

Cleaning recommendations for worktops, upstands, splashbacks and gables
All our worktops are highly resistant to sunlight, scratching, impact, abrasion,
and variety of liquid stains such as tea, coffee, wine and fruit juice.
Most normal stains can simply be cleaned
with a damp cloth.
Paint spills should be removed immediately with water or
organic solvent depending on the paint type.
More stubborn stains such as tea, coffee, grease, red wine
etc, can be removed with a soft nylon brush and washing up
liquid. Any abrasive scourers or creams should be avoided.
Stains such as felt tip pen, shoe polish, nicotine, nail varnish
etc, can be removed with an organic solvent such as nail
polish remover or methylated spirits.
2-part adhesives must be removed immediately and not
allowed to harden.
Please do not cut or chop directly on the worktop surface.
Always use a chopping board.
Hot pans and dishes should always be placed on a
protective pad to avoid burning or blistering the laminate
surface.
With its HPL surface the new ‘air’ worktop is every bit
as resistant on its surface. However due to its unique
construction it outperforms all other worktops on impact
tests and as a waterproof product has no problem with
sinks, dishwashers, or boiling kettles.
