MILKOR PRIDES ITSELF IN HAVING MAINTAINED A BEST-OF-BREED STATUS
Milkor (Pty) Ltd is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the
internationally known 40mm Multiple Grenade Launchers (MGL) and
was established in 1981 as a privately owned company in South Africa.
Milkor has also developed weapons in the safety and security industry
for public order management, but our key market and expertise lies in
military equipment and applications.
Our weapon-systems have been used by various National Defence
Forces for more than 35 years. Milkor prides itself in being the 40mm
market leader with more than 55,000 of Milkor’s Multiple Grenade
Launcher systems sold in over 50 countries worldwide, to law
enforcement and military agencies, ranging from lethal to less and non-
lethal weapons. Through science and simplicity, our team is driven to
the improvement of our performance and designs. Milkor products
have a distinct history of toughness and reliability. The Research and
Development section is actively busy with technological advances
and the launch of our new products are imminent.
Milkor has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification by Dekra and
have received various commendations from a variety of role players.
Milkor subscribes fully to South African and international codes
of conduct for the distribution of weapon systems. Milkor has also
attained a BEE Level 3 Contribution Certificate for our South African
clients and partners.

PRODUCTS
Milkor is currently leading competition with its latest technology which
is unparalleled in both the less-lethal and lethal markets. All Milkor
products are designed on the principle of ‘simplicity = reliability’
which has been the key to the success of its products. Milkor’s 30
year experience and the constant innovation of new leading edge
technology has earned Milkor a powerful position in the international
and national markets.
Milkor’s current product range is mainly focused on 40mm -lethal and

NEW INNOVATIONS
In 2009, we introduced the Milkor 40mm SuperSix Multi-Ranged Grenade Launcher, capable of firing all types
of ammunition available, from less lethal to medium velocity. With specialized ammunition, The SuperSix is
capable of reaching distances of up to 1200m.

MARKETING HISTORY
Before the establishment of DENEL (Pty) Ltd in 1991, Milkor (Pty)
Ltd had an agreement with Armscor for the marketing and sale of
its products to local as well as to international customers, with much
success, especially with Milkor’s 40mm 6-shot Multiple Grenade
Launcher (marketed as the 40mm MGL).
