Milkor (Pty) Ltd is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
of the internationally known 40mm Multiple Grenade Launchers
(MGL) and was established in 1981 as a privately owned company
in South Africa. Milkor has also developed weapons in the safety
and security industry for public order management, but our key
market and expertise lies in military equipment and applications.
Our weapon-systems have been used by various National Defence
Forces for more than 35 years. Milkor prides itself in being the
40mm market leader with more than 55,000 of Milkor’s Multiple
Grenade Launcher systems sold in over 50 countries worldwide,
to law enforcement and military agencies, ranging from lethal to
less and non-lethal weapons. Through science and simplicity, our
team is driven to the improvement of our performance and designs.
Milkor products have a distinct history of toughness and reliability.
The Research and Development section is actively busy with
developments and the launch of new products are imminent soon.
Milkor has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification by Dekra
and have received various commendations from a variety of role
players. Milkor subscribes fully to South African and international
codes of conduct for the distribution of weapon systems.

The Milkor 40mm SuperSix Multi-Range Grenade Launcher (MRGL), is a versatile sixth generation, 6-shot launcher with different options of
cylinder length. A wide variety of 40mm ammunition can be fired from the SuperSix platform. Effective range includes all existing low- and
medium velocity ammunition. Rounds can be fired in rapid succession of 6 rounds in less than 3 seconds (operator dependent). Standard 6-shot
area coverage of at least 20m x 60m. The SuperSix is manufactured from Mil Standard materials to endure most severe battlefield conditions.
The SuperSix offers the most effective multi-shot hand-held fire power available to the modern soldier for commanding the battlefield in any
combat scenario. Ideally suited for use by armed forces where extreme versatility is needed in a live combat or peacekeeping environment.
Rapid-moving armored and non-armored personnel carriers, helicopter gunships and patrol boats can easily be fitted with the SuperSix too. The
SuperSix is capable of firing a wide range of standard and medium velocity munitions, which enables the user to engage a wider range of targets
than possible with a standard 40mm launcher. Single or double weapon mounting are also available.
Milkor 37/38mm & 40mm MAR
Multiple Anti-Riot
The Milkor 37/38mm and 40mm Multiple AntiRiot (MAR) is a lightweight shoulder held 6-shot
launcher. The MAR is a derivative of the ever
popular Milkor 40mm MGL adapted to fire the
standard 37/38mm Less Lethal Riot Control
rounds available today. The 6 x shot cylinder
provides the user with more firepower than the
conventional single shot weapons available.
The MAR is ideally designed for use by Police
Forces. Its extreme versatility can be utilized
in peacekeeping environments. The MAR
is capable of firing a wide range of Anti-Riot
munitions thus offering the bearer the ability
to employ rounds ideally suited for the specific
situation, including Tear Gas, Flash-bang and
rubber baton rounds for crowd control.
Milkor 40mm UBGL
The 40mm UBGL is an extremely lightweight single shot, Under Barrel Grenade Launcher
(UBGL) with advanced safety aspects. The UBGL can be attached to most modern
assault weapons and rifles with minor adjustments, using the Picatinny Rail System. The
UBGL is fitted with a Steel barrel with constant pitch rifling. The UBGL swings to the side
for loading and unloading of Standard Low Velocity 40mm cartridges. The 40mm UBGL
can be attached to most existing assault weapons. This enables the user to have a 40mm
Grenade Launcher capability together with an assault rifle. The UBGL can also be fired
independently from a rifle (hand held) in any emergency. It can also be fitted to rifles and
shot guns used in policing and is able to fire Less Lethal and Lethal ammunition.

The Milkor 40mm Multiple Grenade Launcher Mark
1S is a rugged and robust shoulder held 6 - shot
launcher. The Mark 1S is a standard, 105mm cylinder,
3rd generation launcher enhancing the capabilities of
the legendary 40mm MGL also known as the Milkor
Y2, and the 2nd generation Mk 1. The Mark 1 S is
capable of firing a wide range of Lethal and Less
Lethal munitions thus offering the bearer the ability
to employ the use of rounds ideally suited for the
specific situation, including Tear Gas and Rubber
Baton rounds for crowd control, Grenade and Flashbang rounds for combat situations and many more.

Multiple Grenade Launcher
The Milkor 40mm Multiple Grenade Launcher Mark 1L is a rugged,
robust, shoulder fired 6-shot launcher. The MGL Mark 1L has a
lengthened 140mm cylinder as opposed to the standard 105mm
chamber of the Mark 1S. The extra 35mm chamber area enables
this weapon to fire a variety of ammunition for different applications.
All shots can be fired in rapid succession of 6 rounds in less than 3
seconds. The MGL Mark 1L is a semi-automatic weapon designed
with simplicity in mind to offer uncompromising reliability and efficiency.
The MGL Mark 1L is ideally suited for use by Armed Forces where
its extreme versatility can be used in combat or peacekeeping
environments. The MGL Mark 1L is capable of firing a wide range of
Lethal and Less Lethal munitions thus offering the bearer the ability
to employ the use of rounds ideally suited for the specific situation,
including Tear Gas and Rubber Baton rounds for crowd control,
Grenade and Flash-bang rounds for combat situations and many more.
Milkor 37/38mm or 40mm STOPPER Convertible
The Milkor 37/38mm or 40mm Stopper Convertible is a lightweight single shot break-open weapon designed to give optimum performance, utilizing
a variety of 37/38mm or 40mm Less Lethal rounds. As a security or assault weapon, it can be fired from the shoulder or like a pistol by hand. All
metal surfaces are treated with a coating for corrosion protection, plus long-life dry film lubrication. Its unique floating firing pin mechanism ensures
safety when accidentally dropped. The components of the weapon are interchangeable (client dependent), providing a wide range of applications.
