Hatboro Area YMCA is
a No Place for Hate®
Facility
The Hatboro Area
YMCA celebrated their
designation as a No Place
for Hate facility, having
completed a year of antibias and anti-bullying
programs. To earn this
distinction, the YMCA
formed a No Place for Hate Committee, adopted
a resolution pledging to create a more inclusive
community, and implemented a number of
projects promoting respect for differences.
The Y is a cause-driven organization that
is for youth development, for healthy living
and for social responsibility, so creating an
environment where all members feel welcome
and accepted through the No Place for Hate
campaign is a perfect complement to our
mission.
The No Place for Hate program was developed
by the Anti-Defamation League to provide a
model for challenging bigotry and intolerance in
communities, schools and organizations.

So Much More™
Hatboro Area YMCA
Annual Campaign
Throughout our region, people think they
know the Y—but there’s so much more
to us than you might think. Did you know
that every day we support the people that
need us most? From exercise to education,
volleyball to volunteering, preschool to
preventive health, we don’t just strengthen
bodies—we strengthen entire communities.
Through our Annual Campaign, funds are
raised which enable us to offer Financial
Assistance to 1-in-4 people that we serve.
Your donations during last year’s campaign
made it possible for thousands of children,
families and older adults to share the Y
experience.
This year, as part of our campaign, we
want you to think of the Y as so much
more than a gym. Think of us as cause
– a cause worth investing in. Our goal is
to raise $134,000. Give to our Annual
Campaign and help us ensure that no
one is turned away from Y programs and
services because of an inability to pay.
Support the Hatboro Area Annual
Campaign and spread the message that
the Y is so much more.
