Brand new series for ITV’s #1 hit drama
We start back in Portwenn with Martin, but
Louisa is not there. After their tumultuous
time last series, Louisa has gone for a break
to visit her mother in Spain: to have some
time to think and get some perspective on
their relationship. Martin is faced with the
question – will Louisa come back to him;
and what can he do to make sure that she
does? Martin knows that he needs to try
and change for the sake of his marriage,
and promised Louisa that he would see a
therapist to try and effect this change.
Aunt Ruth manages to find him someone
very well qualified to see – Dr Rachel
Timoney. However, Martin still can’t get
hold of Louisa to learn what she has been
thinking about and whether she even wants
to stay married to him, so is still none the
wiser as to what her plans are. Desperate
to speak to Louisa, and determined to make
his appointment with Dr Timoney, Martin is
thwarted from doing both these things, as
events in Portwenn, in the shape of Steve
Baker and a Portwenn Lifeboat exercise,
conspire to prevent him. Marooned out at
sea with no phone reception and faced with
a medical emergency, Martin may miss the
phone call he is waiting for from Louisa,
and is also in danger of being late for his
first therapy appointment.

When your mid-life crisis is pure murder,
life will never be the same again
Based on the Australian series Easy Living. The
father, Attila, leaves for work. He breaks into a flat
and then rents it out as if he was an estate agent.
Later, while “picking up” his wife’s birthday present
by stealing a Mercedes, he is interrupted by a call
from his mother – his father is dying. He hurries to
the hospital, but the old man only wants to see his
younger son and won’t even acknowledge Attila,
whom he has always considered to be the black sheep
of the family. Afterwards, Attila takes the stolen car
to his old friend, Endre Hollós, to get new documents
for it. Hollós offers Attila a job to collect a truckload
of contraband. Using his father’s death as an excuse,
Attila turns the job down. As his father was honest and
demanded the same from his sons, Attila’s conscience
deeply disturbs him, and when he almost gets caught
the next time he breaks into a flat, he comes to a
decision, from now on he’s going straight.
Black Widows season two follows on from the first
season when we saw three desperate wives, Veera,
Johanna and Kirsi try and kill off their husbands in
a boat explosion, which didn’t go quite according
to plan. Now, Jukka, the surviving husband, has just
learned that his wife and the other women were
behind the explosion…and goes missing. Soon the
widows realise that someone is trying to kill them.
But is it Jukka or some unknown party? Who is
threatening them and how can they make it stop?
Veera still wants an ordinary life, Johanna her
independence and Kirsi her dolce vita, but you can’t
always get what you want.
The women’s mutual trust is put to a real test and
the relationships get even more complicated.

the cute factor. We witness milestones and day to
day activities such as feeding, nurturing, grooming,
playing, napping and exploring their natural habitat
with mum or dad.
The series is structured to include diurnal (day),

Winston Churchill, who did most to make sure Philip
had no meaningful power. Interviews and unpublished
memoirs revealed by Philip’s close relations describe
contact with the Nazis, explaining much of the
hostility Philip would suffer in Britain.

Two teams of three battle it out to become the Hive
Ten established and popular artists are given the
ultimate artistic challenge. For ten weeks they
will compete in several different music styles such
as pop, rock, hip hop, musical, opera, big band,
reggae, latino and country.

A vetaran charter ship is heading for the harbour town
Vadsø on the northernmost coast of Norway. Among a
crew of six, the chef suddenly goes missing. This is a
big mystery since the ship has been on the open sea
all night. In Vadsø harbour a large group of guests and
celebrities are waiting along with the rest of the crew.
Among them is the young police trainee Moses. He
has been informed that a person is missing but none
of the crew admits to have called the police. Moses
soon realises that they are all hiding something. He is
confused; the crew seem so genuine, but everyone is
lying to him. Why?
Three couples spend a weekend at a summer villa by
the sea. As the husbands head off for a fishing trip,
the wives wave goodbye. The boat accelerates and
as it heads away from the shore it suddenly explodes.
The three women witness the horrific scene. Within a
matter of seconds, their husbands have gone…just as
they planned.
Eight weeks, 41 episodes, from the far north to the far
south, ending up in Oslo. The investigation continues
throughout the journey. What happened the night that
the chef went missing? And who was he really? He does
not exist in any records.
Veera, Johanna and Kirsi are three best friends in their
30s who have been extremely unhappy for years.
The reason?
Their husbands. At the end of their tethers, they make
a life-changing decision – they must get rid of their
husbands once and for all.
When the deed is done, it is time for the women to
start anew. But things are never that straightforward.
Jukka, the surviving husband, learns that his wife and
the other women were behind the explosion…and
goes missing. Soon the widows realise that someone
is trying to kill them. But is it Jukka or some unknown
party? Who is threatening them and how can they
make it stop?
The women’s mutual trust is put to a real test and the
relationships get even more complicated.

The life of a male midwife

Where do you hide when the enemy
is one of your own?
The ER. Where lives collide…
Javar is a striving Norwegian-Pakistani law student. He
lives a double life, on the one side an urban citizen in
Oslo, with a Norwegian girlfriend – on the other he has
to be a good son to his conservative Pakistani family. He
is forced to create a set of lies and creative solutions,
to keep everybody happy.
But he gets in trouble when he suddenly gets his hand
on evidence of a fraud including more than 50 taxi
owners and a large amount of money – millions. It does
not get better when he realises that a highly respected
accountant and a pillar of society have contributed.
All of a sudden Javar is forced to navigate through the
backstreets of the city, without being seen. His only
way out of trouble is to make the public aware about
the corrupt taxi drivers’ internal affairs. But it’s not
easy to identify who the enemies are.
He never knows who he can trust. Both Javar and his
loved ones are threatened by powerful people, who will
stop at nothing to prevent evidence leaking out.
What has happened in the lives of the people who enter
the ER? What dramatic event has led them through
the hospital doors? This is what our three recurring
physicians must decipher in order to cure their
patients. To do so, they look for the truth in people
who have many secrets to hide. Through a series of
flashbacks each episode examines the lives, prior to
their arrival at the emergency room. The story unfolds
as our established physicians launch their investigation
to find the truth; telling their version of events through
narration and interviews.
The problem could be a misunderstanding but when
the patients are going to extreme lengths to conceal
what really happened, could there be something more
sinister behind their injuries? Our physicians are racing
against the clock to find the answer - but not before
there is a twist in the story.
