OptiWay is designed to provide a safe, easy to use and cost effective management system for your
fragile optical cables. OptiWay allows you to route fiber optic cables among equipment and provides
the physical protection and bend radius management that is crucial to optical cable performance.
Constructed of halogen free PC/ABS material OptiWay can be used to protect your cabling from
the point of building entry right up to the terminal devices. The OptiWay system is fully modular
giving you unrivalled flexibility in your chosen layout, whether a new build or refurbishment project.
KEY FEATURES
Quick and easy installation
OptiWay enables easy, simple and
quick installation. Any kind of design,
as required by the specific needs of the
data center, can be created in shortest
possible installation time.
No special tools required
OptiWay couplers can be connected
with any straight or curved ducting
part by hand only so no special tools
are needed. This saves time and makes
the installation even easier.
High-quality material
OptiWay system is made of PC/ABS
that provides the final product with excellent durability, heat stability and resistance to deformation. The material is
halogen free and flame retardant.
Easy drop arrangement
Spill-over exits can be easily positioned
and moved without the need to cut the
ducting body using tools.
APPLICATIONS
OptiWay helps to ensure the maximum
performance of your installed fibre
optic cabling plant and can also
be used for the support of delicate
copper transmission cables, such
as Category 6A. When properly
designed and installed, OptiWay offers
an excellent method of managing
the high volume of fragile network
cabling found in today’s data centers.

CONTEG fully respects the customer’s right to create an individual solution using
different vendors and their products. OptiWay has been designed considering
that the compatibility with other brand ducting systems is one of the major
requirements. The compatible design allows the end user to reduce the extra
cost and simply complete the installation of other ducting system with OptiWay.

Main Duct
The main duct is an extruded 2 metre long conduit and can be connected with any other OptiWay products using
joiners. The duct can be easily cut to length on site. Color: Yellow. Please note that Main ducts are delivered in
two pieces per box. The carton box includes 2 x 2metres of Main duct. For more information please see last

ORDERING AND SHIPPING INFORMATION
Configure the pathway system from OptiWay products in order to meet your requirements. Each
product has an original part number so you can order products which you really need. OptiWay
products are delivered in carton boxes and we prefer ordering by 5 pieces from each product.
Main ducts are delivered by two pieces in carton box, so the order of Main duct should be in
even numbers. As soon as you have the part numbers, please contact your distributor of CONTEG
products. In order to help you to optimize your design, CONTEG engineering support is available to
plan and configure your OptiWay. Please contact us with any technical support requests that you have.
