Connections Crossroads Hospice Society provides compassionate support and honours the dignity of those affected by the end-of-life experience. DECEMBER 2014 putting life into days 1988-2013 OUR TREASURED VOLUNTEERS A special thank you to all of our volunteers who worked so hard throughout the year culminating in the transformation of the Hard Rock Casino Theatre into a festive wonderland – this year’s Treasures of Christmas was another tremendous success. Volunteer photographer Cheryl Andrews captured some of the behind the scences action while tree decorators and set up crews began creating the Christmas magic. WHAT’S HAPPENING High Fashion at Christmas At our December 2,Volunteer Christams celebration guests were treated to a thrift store fashion show! Meanwhile, a Community Solstice Celebration is planned by a local resident to celebrate the longest day of the year.
