V I L L A G E P O I N T E BUSINESS POINTS Omaha MSA • Omaha is a strong regional retail market—the main retail destination for more than 1.2 million consumers from eight counties within a 60-minute drive. • Omaha is ranked No. 3 in the 2008 “Best Cities to Live, Work and Play” report by Kiplinger. • Forbes ranked Omaha 8th among the “Best Cities for Jobs in 2008”. • The Population of the Omaha MSA is 836,227 and is expected to reach 879,495 by 2013. • Omaha has a low cost of living compared to other cities—10-13% less expensive than the national average. Median income is 10% higher than the national average. The median home price is 34% below the national average.
