MISSION CORNER DESK
Thank you for purchasing our Mission Corner Desk. Assembly of this product requires a
Phillips screwdriver. We found it helpful to have a second person assist with assembly.

STEP 1
Read through these instructions thoroughly before
beginning assembly. We have found this to be of
great value when first assembling this product.
STEP 2
Remove all parts and hardware from packing
material. Wooden pieces should be placed on a nonabrasive surface (like the carton or carpet) to prevent
damage to the finish.
STEP 3
Identify all parts using diagram at right
STEP 4
Identify and count hardware using diagram at right.
Assembly of this product requires a Phillips
screwdriver. We have found it helpful to have a
second person present in at least one step of the
assembly.
STEP 5
Lay leg assemblies (B and C - these do NOT have
holes for the removable shelf) flat with the holes
facing upwards. Note the Shelf (C) has a pilot hole
in the edge. These two will accommodate the long
shelf (E).
Insert a cam lock into each of the two holes at the
top end of each assembly as shown. Ensure that the
long slot in the cam lock 'points' to the hole in the
top edge of the leg assembly. Screw a cam peg into
each of the two predrilled holes near the bottom end
of each assembly.

STEP 6
Repeat Step 5 with the other two leg assemblies (A).
These two leg assemblies have holes to
accommodate the removable shelf.
STEP 7
Lay shelves (D and E) flat with holes facing up.
Insert a cam lock into each of the four holes. Ensure
that the long slot in each cam lock 'points' to the
corresponding hole in the edge of the shelf.
STEP 8
Screw 8 cam pegs into top (F) as shown at
right.

STEP 9
Align holes in short edge of long shelf (E) with cam
pegs in leg assembly (C) with cam locks pointing
toward bottom of finished unit as shown. Press
together. Secure by turning cam lock at least 1/2
turn clockwise.
Repeat to attach leg assembly (B) to long shelf (E).
STEP 10
Align holes in top edges of side assemblies (B and
C) with cam pegs in underside of top (F). Press
together. Secure by turning cam locks at least 1/2
turn clockwise.
STEP 11
Locate leg assembly (A) with countersunk hole in
bottom rail. Align holes in top edge with cam pegs
in top (F) as shown. Secure by turning cam locks at
least 1/2 turn clockwise. Secure leg assembly (A) to
leg assembly (C) by screwing wood screw through
countersunk hole in (A) and into pilot hole in (C).

STEP 12
Lay leg assembly (A) without countersunk hole flat
with cam pegs pointing up. Align holes in edge of
fixed shelf (D) with cam pegs. (Ensure that cam
locks in shelf (D) face bottom of finished desk as
shown at right.) Press pieces together. Secure
assembly by turning cam locks at least 1/2 turn
clockwise with Phillips screwdriver.
STEP 13
Attach assembly from Step 16 to finished unit. We
found it easiest to align the holes in the leg assembly
(A) with the cam pegs in the top (F) and 'rolling' the
assembly to align cam pegs in the other leg
assembly (A) with the holes in the edge of the shelf
(D).
Tighten all cam locks by turning at least 1/2 turn
clockwise.
STEP 14
Ensure all fasteners are tight. Get assistance to turn
unit upright.
Place four wooden pins into predrilled holes on
inside of leg assemblies (A). These will support the
removable shelf (I).

STEP 15
Place removable shelf (G) onto wooden pins
ensuring that pins engage grooves in underside of
shelf.
CARE
Dust as needed with a soft cloth. Clean with damp
cloth and mild solution of dish soap. Polish with
soft cloth and polish that contains no pigments or
silicone.
