Nuits Saint-Georges is located in the Côte de Nuits, between the villages of
Prémeaux- Prissey and Vosne-Romanée. Both these villages produce the Nuits
Saint-Georges appellation.

The soils of the Premiers Crus vineyards are made of limestone and marls. They
are ideally East oriented.
« Les Vaucrains » is located in Nuits Saint-Georges, next to "Les Chaînes Carteaux"
and above "Les Saint-Georges".

100% Pinot Noir
Wine making
After destemming, this wine is vinified in open vats during 3 to 4 weeks. It is
then aged in oak barrels for about 15 months.
Winemaker's comments / Gastronomy
Les Vaucrains » is a fullbodied wine, well-balanced, with a nice ruby colour. It
shows aromas of red berries and spices.
It matches red meat, game and most cheeses.
Preservation
It will be able to keep 10 to 15 years according to the vintages and in good
conditions of temperature and humidity.
