The time when kids of all ages (yes, coaches too!) show up for practices and games with eager anticipation for the season ahead and uniforms which still look new. It’s a time that many BAA members have worked very hard over the past few months and I’d like to thank a few of them. Because there are so many people involved, This would include people assisting in the February and March clinics for our players, volunteers that gave up their Saturday to clean up Chartiers Park and all of the coaches teaching kids the game of baseball and softball…..We say thank you! The 2016 BAA Board has been busy preparing, from planning for the January Registration to the ordering of needed equipment for the year, ordering uniforms, putting the game schedules together and putting together a very successful March Bingo fundraiser…..We say thank you! Last but certainly not least, we would like to thank the companies that sponsor the BAA. If it wasn’t for the local companies that help support our program, we would not be able to have such a successful organization. Because of this support, the BAA has been able to keep the costs low for families to play baseball and softball in Bridgeville…..We say thank you! Wendi Duffill Joe Verduci,Commissioner So as you can see, we’ve been quite busy during the preseason getting ready for May. I think I can speak for the other Board members and volunteers when I say that it is all worth it President Emeritus 2016 Advertising Signs Needed! when our kids are on the field or in the batter’s box, uniforms on, excitement for a new season shining on their faces, and the umpire starts the game with a call to “Play Ball!” Upcoming Events in May, June & July The BAA is looking for the generosity of local companies to advertise your business at Chartiers Park Your help is greatly needed. Benefits of a subscription include: Co-pays are written off entirely If your entire ambulance bill goes to deductible, we will write off 50% A household subscription covers everyone living in your household AND your visitors (provided they don’t reside in our service area) Subscriptions are likely more beneficial than ever with the current trend in insurance reimbursements. High deductible plans and higher co-pays are on the rise, therefore it is crucial to reduce the burden of an unexpected ambulance bill, which could possibly total $1,100 or more! Preparing for the unexpected is always a wise decision. If you have any questions, or are in need of a subscription form, please call us at 412-221-5115.
