Driver’s cab
The compartment of the new Euro 5 Vehicle
features a new design with a central console.
The cabin features a state-of-the-art design,
built with rustproof composite materials and
with an electrical tilting mechanism.
The standard version comes with an array of
accessories, such as: electrical window lifters,
centralised door locking and can be fitted with a
car radio and height adjustable steering wheel.
As well has having a flood lamp and
prearranged for additional headlamps, the
Winter service version can also be fitted with
heated windscreens and mirrors.
The mechanical handbrake with
hydraulic unlocking device acts
directly and simultaneously on the
rear wheel grips and the drive shaft.
Hydraulic supply is controlled by a
central pump.
Snow plough control
The joystick control of the snow plough
is extremely precise and intuitive. The
central hydraulic pump, in constant
operation, ensures oil supply in all
situations.
Guaranteed power
The new Euro V category Iveco
engine with particle filter supplies
146 HP to a torque of 370 Nm at
just 1400 rpm, which combines with
the 3000 cc displacement ensure a
large power reserve in any operating
situation.
Particle filter
Fitted as standard on all versions,
it drastically reduces emissions in
compliance with the latest Euro V
directives, namely the 2008/74/EC
ref 2005/55/EC line B2.
3° handbrake
Steering
A new handbrake has been added in
conjunction with the two rear wheel
brakes in order to ensure total safety in
the most extreme situations.
The steering gears are controlled by a
hydraulically assisted ZF gearbox with variable
gear ratio connected crosswise to the wheel.
The front semi-axles with oil-bath homokinetic
joints are fully encapsulated in the wheels
in order to ensure maximum protection in all
operating conditions.
All-wheel drive
The BONETTI reduction gear
designed with cutting-edge solutions
is controlled by an electronic control
unit that distributes the drive torque on
both axles thanks to the central third
differential.
Sturdy chassis
Total protection
The main chassis, consisting of two stringers
and cross members with a variable section,
ensures a high torsional rigidity which is
suited to fit the crane behind the driver’s cab
and the snow ploughs at the front.
The strategic position of the rear lamps and
the rear crossbar facilitate tilting operations
for the driver. All the vehicles are rustproof
and fitted with rear mudguards and stainless
steel diesel tank.
