Dear Fellow Members,
The Holiday season is here and your club is ready to help you celebrate. More
than 200 members and guests enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet. We are now
gearing up for the Christmas season.
Belmont is the perfect place for hosting private Holiday functions for family
and friends or business associates. The House Committee has the club
decorated beautifully. Our staff is ready to help you with your Holiday
entertaining. Chef Kyle can also provide catering for your in home events.
Plan on attending The 12 Days of Christmas Gala on December 12. It's one of
the best social events we have at the club. Reservations are required. Santa is
coming to Belmont on December 6 at 11 am. Be sure to bring the children to
see him to confirm their gift list.
During the Holiday season we say thank you to our great staff with our
voluntary contributions to the Employee Holiday Fund. Many of our members
add an additional amount to the fund to reward those who take such good care
of us. The Board will lead by example and all Board members are increasing
their contributions to the fund. I urge you to call the office and increase your
contribution.
Your Board welcomes your input. Contact any of us with your questions or
concerns.
Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays

MEMBERSHIP NEWS
Dear Members
As I sit here and review all of the events for December I realized what a continued opportunity we have as a Club to show
Belmont off at its finest! So many of you have scheduled parties for the holidays that will give your guests a chance to see
Belmont’s halls all decked out and give the membership office a chance to speak to those potential new members thanks to
you! This is the time of year to really reflect on how fortunate we are—to be able to enjoy our family, friends and
colleagues during the holidays and spend time enjoying the Club in its festive atmosphere. Please consider giving the gift of
membership to a loved one or a deserving employee; the dining, tennis or pool memberships make great gifts and make
shopping easy! Just give me a call or email me and I will put a folder together with all the information of the type of
membership you are gifting. This is a great way to grow the membership and the recipient can enjoy it all year long.
I will continue to work throughout the winter months getting information put together for membership and look to see all of
you come springtime. Enjoy your winter and please keep referring your friends to Belmont.
Warm wishes for a happy, healthy holiday season and a prosperous New Year!

Sadly, I advise you of the passing of long time member
Dr. Patrick Mulrow in Florida. Pat and Jackie had been
members since June 1, 1976 and moved to Florida full
time last fall. They have maintained a non-resident
membership. A private family service will be held in
Florida with a memorial next spring at St. Rose
Catholic Church, Perrysburg.
