"As many seniors as we have, we are looking forward to a successful run in CBI 2015. We're a Senior-dominated team and these guys have plenty of experience. I really believe we have the offense and speed on the basepaths, but we HAVE to play solid, smart defense. Despite the lack of outdoor facilities and practice time, our young and inexperienced team has reach down deep and, are determined to have a good season. This will be Heschel’s first time going to the CBI tournament and our coaches and players are looking forward to a great experience. 16 Los Angeles, CA Shalhevet Firehawks Roster Yosef “Seffi” Arnan Jonah Gill Micah Gil Elon Glouberman Elie Helfand Ezra Hess Joshua Joffe Noah Rothman Alex Silberstein Jacob Toczek Avi Weinrib Henry Wineburgh 81 18 14 10 8 27 11 64 9 77 2 2 The Shalhevet Firehawks are proud to return to the CBI Tournament for the second time. The Firehawks have fielded a team since the early 2000’s and have been one of Shalhevet’s most successful teams. In 2005, they made it to the CIF Southern Section semi-finals, the school’s first sports team to make it that far. With our seniors away on their senior trip (The Poland-Israel Experience), our juniors have stepped up to take on leadership roles. This year the Firehawks beat the YULA Panthers for the first time in 7 years! Led by the talented Coach Ryan Coleman, this team has continued to improve throughout the season and will be strong opponents during the CBI Tournament. Go Firehawks!!
