NEW BOATS to be discovered at
the forthcoming boat shows
The
September traditionally marks the start of the season for the boat shows,
which throughout the world, from Europe to Asia, via the Americas, allow
us to discover the new boats the builders have concocted for us. And as
far as the new catamarans and trimarans are concerned, the coming
year is going to be particularly exciting!
ALIBI 54
Although the Thailand-based builder will be
present or represented at the coming
shows, you will have to wait until the 2017
Multihull Boat Show in La Grande Motte, to
discover the comprehensive re-styling of the
Alibi 54’s accommodation. Apart from this,
the builder is working on a particularly sexy
flying boat...
AVENTURA 10 POWER
Aventura will be presenting its brand-new boat for its
world premiere at Cannes. The Aventura 10 Power is a
very liveable motor catamaran with modern looks,
advertised from 220,000 euros exc. tax.
BALI 4.0 & 5.8
Bali Catamaran will be presenting its latest
boat (the Bali 4.0) at Cannes, La Rochelle,
Annapolis and most of the major boat
shows all over the world. On the other
hand, you will have to wait until 2017
to see the flagship of the Bali fleet, the 5.8.
A catamaran with XXL volumes which
promises to revolutionize the way of life in a
catamaran a little more.
BALANCE 526
Discovered at the last Miami show, the brand-new
Balance 526 will be on show at Annapolis, in October.
This fast blue-water cruising boat has been designed to
be above all easy to sail shorthanded.

CATANA 53 & 62
Catana is offering us a big year, with two nice new boats. At
Cannes, we will be seeing the brand new Catana 62, whilst the
53 will be presented to the public for the first time at the
Multihull Boat Show in La Grande Motte, in April 2017.
CORSAIR 760
In ten years, more than 700 Corsair 24s have been built.
An impressive success for this fun, sporty trimaran. As a
replacement, Corsair has just presented a brand-new boat
designed by Perus Yacht Designs, called the Corsair 760.
You will be able to see it next January in Düsseldorf,
then in Miami.
EOS 54
You will have to go to La Rochelle, and nowhere else, to see the latest boat
designed by Christophe Barreau and built at Marsaudon Composites. A fast
ocean cruising boat capable of providing excitement under sail. The builder
(Marsaudon) will also be presenting two TS 42s at La Rochelle’s Grand
Pavois, and will be announcing the start of production of the TS 5
(a 50-footer) and the TS 3...
FOUNTAINE PAJOT
Fountaine Pajot is in a more than positive dynamic, and is again
presenting numerous new boats this year, with the
Lucia 40,
Helia 44 Evolution, and for 2017, two brand-new boats –
the MY 44 motor catamaran and the New 47...
We saw the Lucia 40 at the last Paris Boat Show. The builder’s new
40-footer immediately appealed through the volumes it offers and its
good performance under sail, in its category. It can be seen this year
at all the shows, from Cannes to Annapolis, via La Rochelle, Genoa,
Southampton and Barcelona. With its Evolution version, the Hélia 44
optimizes its volumes and offers a new, successful design. See it at
Cannes, Annapolis, Genoa and La Rochelle.
You will have to wait until 2017 to see the builder’s new 47-footer,
whose code name is New 47. A catamaran which fits perfectly into the
builder’s range, between the Hélia and the Saba.
Finally, as for the motor catamarans, Fountaine Pajot is presenting the
MY 44, which, in the spirit of the very successful MY 37, offers luxury,
design, performance and sobriety. A brand-new boat, to be discovered
at Düsseldorf.

FUTURA 49
This time we’re there... The first variable beam catamaran
has gone into production, and we will see it firstly at
Düsseldorf, in January 2017, then afloat at the Multihull
Boat Show. With a beam which varies from 4.93m to
7.98m, it offers new perspectives for those who like to go
into a marina from time to time...
HH66 & 55
This is an important year for Hudson Yacht &
Marine, as the builder will be presenting two major
new boats, with the HH66 and HH55. The first will
be at Cannes, for its world premiere, whilst the 55
and 66 will both be at Miami in February 2017. Two
catamarans which are much-awaited by lovers of
fast, stylish sailing boats.
LAGOON 42 & SEVENTY 7
It will inevitably be the most looked-at boat at
the next Cannes Boat Show: the Lagoon
Seventy 7 will actually be taking its first steps
in public. At 77 feet, the flagship of the Lagoon
fleet should also be the biggest of the multihulls present. The Seventy 7 will then be present at Barcelona. The year’s other new boat,
the Lagoon 42, has already won over the
enthusiasts at its presentation in Düsseldorf,
then at the Multihull Boat Show. You will be
able to see it at this fall’s shows, from Cannes
to Barcelona, via Genoa, Annapolis and La
Rochelle.
LEOPARD 43 PC
Leopard will be present at Cannes, Annapolis
and Miami, with almost the whole of its
range, and the Cannes show will be the
opportunity to see the Leopard 43 PC (see
the test in this edition) in its three-cabin
private owner’s version.

MAVERICK 44
The South African builder has made a specialty of
creating boats which are original, and each time very
different from one another. To be confirmed at the
Durban, Cape Town and Annapolis shows.
NAUTITECH OPEN 46 FLY
The Nautitech Open 46 was presented to the public for the
first time at the last Multihull Boat Show. The Fly version of
this 46-footer can be seen at Cannes (world premiere),
Annapolis, Barcelona and Miami, whilst the Open 46 will be
at Southampton and Düsseldorf.
NEEL 51
Whilst awaiting the brand-new 51-foot ocean cruising
trimaran that Neel is preparing for us (launch in 2017),
you will be able to see the Neel 45 at La Rochelle in its
Custom Line version, then at Cannes and Southampton.
O YACHTS CLASS 4 XL ET CLASS 6
The Latvia-based builder is preparing two important new boats
for 2017, with the Class 4 XL (8.3 tonnes unladen and 3.7 tonnes
load – ideal for a fast round the world trip) and the Class 6, the
first two examples of which have already been sold.
OUTREMER 4 X ET 5 X PHASE 2
You will have to come to Cannes to see the two major new boats from
Outremer, the 4X and 5X Phase 2. Outremer will also be exhibiting at
Newport, La Rochelle and Barcelona with a 45’, whilst an Outremer 51
and a Gunboat (the group’s new acquisition) should be at Annapolis.
Finally, the Outremer 5X will also be at Miami 2017.

PRIVILÈGE SERIE 5, SERIE 6 & EUPHORIE
2016 is an important year for Privilège Marine, with the launch of
two very beautiful boats, the Serie 5 and Serie 6, which you will
be able to admire at Cannes and Miami. And in 2017, the builder
will be presenting its brand-new motor catamaran, the Euphorie.
SEAWIND 1190
With over 150 examples sailing all over the world,
the Seawind 1160 is a boat which appeals. Here
comes the new version of this best-seller, called
the 1190 Sport. Equipped with daggerboards, it can
be seen at Annapolis from next October.
SOLARWAVE 62
The Solarwave 62 was launched at the end of June, and is
going to be presented to the public for the first time at the
Cannes show. An innovative boat, as it offers a range of
over 100 miles per day with just the sun as its energy
source...
ST FRANCIS 50 MK2
Since 2006, the St Francis 50 has been a catamaran which has
appealed to a good number of round the world sailors looking
for a strong, fast boat in which to sail far and for a long time.
Today the builder is presenting a new boat on this basis, the St
Francis 50 MK2, whose volumes have been revised.
See it at Annapolis in October, then at Miami in February 2017.
SUNREEF SUPREM 68
As in previous years, Cannes is THE show where Sunreef
likes to present all its expertise. And this year, in addition to
the 70 Sunreef Power and the Sunreef 74 Sail, you will be
able to see two new boats which won’t leave you indifferent,
with their innovative design: the Sunreef Supreme 68 Sail
and Power. With almost 300 m² of living area in a 24-metre
boat, the Sunreef Supremes are really revolutionary.

SWISSCAT 48
We will be seeing the brand new catamaran created by
SwissCat Yachts in September. A boat which is again
carefully built – we were lucky enough to be able to visit
the yard during construction – and equipped with comfort
elements to live life at sea to the full and performance
elements for having fun at the helm.
TAG 50 GT
The brand-new Tag 50 GT is going to be launched
in the middle of September at the South African
boatyard, and will then be delivered to Europe,
where we should be seeing it at the next Multihull
Boat Show at La Grande Motte. After the 50 GT, it
will be the carbon 50 XR’s turn to be launched, followed by a new Tag 60 GT.
TRICAT 30
Tricat will be taking advantage of La
Rochelle’s Grand Pavois to present its
brand-new trimaran, the Tricat 30. With
1.9m headroom, a real galley and an
independent heads, this genuine fast
cruiser will appeal to many lovers of fast
cruises!
WAVE 58
The Wave 58 was born from the wishes of its
designers to offer a really fast sailing boat,
which is also able to provide a good level of
comfort, both at sea and at anchor. You will
be able to see the result at the Cannes Boat
Show, where this Polish-built catamaran will be
presented to the public for the first time.
XQUISITE X5
Those of you who saw it at the Multihull Boat Show
were attracted by the intelligence of its design.
The X5 is a boat designed by cruisers for cruisers,
and this can be seen in every little detail which has
been thought out carefully for life aboard. The X5
will be presented at Cannes and Annapolis, whilst
awaiting the launch of the motor version in 2017.
