Following the success of last year’s Summer Youth Project,
the Wyvern Theatre is thrilled to present the Madness Musical Our House.
Our House is a fast moving romantic-comedy featuring all the hits of Madness. The show tells the tale of
Joe Casey and the two courses his life may take after committing a petty crime to impress his girlfriend.
What would have happened if he stayed to meet the police when they appear on the scene of the crime?
What would have happened if he had made a run for it?
The show features Madness favourites such as Our House, Baggy Trousers, My Girl,
Driving in My Car, The Wings of a Dove and the all-time classic It Must Be Love.
Last year’s Summer Youth Project production of West Side Story sold out before

The Manfreds, with original ‘front man’ Paul Jones, will be performing
many of the tracks from the highly-acclaimed album The Five Faces

A TASTE OF THINGS TO COME WITH LESLEY WATERS’ RECIPE FOR POSH FRUIT & NUT
INGREDIENTS
600g (1lb 5oz) dark chocolate
85g (3oz) milk chocolate
55g (2oz) white chocolate
50g (1 ¾oz) hazelnuts, toasted
50g (1 ¾oz) pistachio nuts
50g (1 ¾oz) selection dried cherries & berries
1. Line a baking tray with baking parchment.
2. Place the dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white
chocolate into separate heatproof bowls. Place each
bowl over a pan of simmering water and stir with a
spatula until chocolate has melted. Remove from heat
and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
3. Pour the dark chocolate onto the tray and smooth out
with a spatula.
4. Using a teaspoon, drizzle over the milk chocolate
and swirl into the dark chocolate. Then decorate the
surface with the nuts and fruit.
5. Make a paper cone with parchment paper and half fill
with the melted white chocolate. Pipe the chocolate
over the top of the fruit and nuts and leave to set.

Since October 2010 HQ Theatres, has been raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital’s
Theatres for Theatres Appeal. To date we have raised £390,000 for the appeal which aims to build
new state-of-the-art operating theatres at the hospital, which treats very sick children from across the UK.

Steps, which ran in February 2013, we

Libraries on a variety of projects to engage

WHAT TO DO WHEN WE ARRIVE?
If you have small children and you need a booster seat,
please ask one of the front of house volunteers to point
you towards the cloak-room where they are available to
hire for just 50p. If you have a pushchair or buggy, please
ask one of the front of house volunteers to store this in a
safe location for you. Any items left are at your own risk.

When you and your family arrive at the theatre, you will find
everything you need under the one roof. You can enjoy a
light bite from our Diner menu before the show; with a
children’s menu and classic British dishes available, the
Diner menu provides something for everyone.
The Wyvern Theatre is proud to offer £5 student standby tickets.
These £5 tickets are available one hour before any performance with
ticket availability. Students are asked to provide some form of
student ID upon arrival at the theatre.

Wyvern Theatre, Swindon, whether
in person at our Ticket Office, by
phone or online. A booking fee
is an additional payment on top
of the ticket price that is retained
entirely by the Wyvern Theatre to
invest in the venue, whereas the
majority of the ticket price goes to
the producer of the show. Friends
of the Wyvern, School Bookings
and Group bookings (of 10 or more)
do not incur a booking fee.
ACCESSIBLE SEATING For

with your booking when one of
the following is presented to a

GETTING HERE
BY ROAD The Wyvern Theatre
is situated in the town centre 15
minutes from the M4 (Junctions
15 or 16) and the A419 and A420.
Follow the signs to the town centre
and when approaching the Magic
Roundabout you will pick up the
signs to the Wyvern Theatre.
PARKING The multi-storey Wyvern
Car Park (pay and display) is
adjacent to the theatre. There is
also a smaller open air car park
next to the theatre.
BY TRAIN Swindon Railway Station
is just a 10-minute stroll through the
town centre to the Theatre which is
situated at the top of town.
BY BUS/COACH Swindon Bus
Station is just a short 5-minute
walk through the town centre
to the theatre.
