HOYTS Eastland launches
in every cinema!
After extensive refurbishment, HOYTS Eastland has now reopened as the ‘Best. Cinema. Ever.’ With all new
power recliners now in every seat and every cinema, moviegoers will be treated to an all-new reclining
movie experience – boasting extra room and extra comfort.

these experiences. It offers more comfort, more excitement, and more choice for our customers.”
Following the significant redevelopment of Eastland Shopping Centre, HOYTS has chosen to upgrade the
Eastland cinema to a full entertainment hub – complete with full reclining cinemas, and an all new Food
Emporium featuring both a walk-through self service area to pick-up movie snacks. Additional tasty food
options include Eagle Boys, Ben & Jerry’s and Gourmet Hound (offering nachos and hot chips) and licensed
beverages to consume during the movie, all forming part of a complementary cinema going experience.
Many customers have inquired about the renovations, and expressed their excitement on social media
about being able to experience a movie in the ultimate reclining comfort, “Just visited Eastland cinemas in
Ringwood. New look cinema wonderful reclining seats, thanks HOYTS!”
For guests after a little more luxury, HOYTS Eastland’s new HOYTS LUX cinemas are now open with larger
recliner seating, in-cinema waiter service, and an exclusive lounge area - perfect for meeting up with friends
or pre movie drinks. This will provide the best cinematic, food and beverage offer in Australia – with a
private bar, in-cinema service and an excellent selection of gourmet food and wine.
“We wanted our Eastland cinemas to offer a truly one-of-a-kind entertainment experience, each and every
time”, said Damian. “That’s why we’ve also upgraded HOYTS LUX. Whether customers are indulging in a little
luxury or not, a trip to the movies doesn’t get any better than this.”
The refurbishments have been completed just in time for superstar Daniel Craig’s return to the big screen
as James Bond in SPECTRE, releasing November 12, the final instalment of the Hunger Games movies with
Mockingjay Part 2 on November 19, and the eagerly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens on December
17 – where HOYTS has seen an unprecedented number of advance ticket sales. Tickets to all of these titles
are on sale now.
