The Breaker in a Box is also available from
Diamond which includes a completely pre-assembled
breaking plant in a 40 foot container for emerging
markets or specialty products with a capacity
between 1.000 and 36.000 eggs per hour. This
plant is shipped fully assembled and ready to operate
upon arrival in a 12 x 4 meter container meeting all
sanitary requirements including stainless floors and
sanitary wall and ceiling panels.

The rugged, precision cracker head accepts eggs from
peewee to jumbo, thin and thick shells without compromise.
The knives produce a clean break without shell fragments to
help minimize fractured yolks for clean whites. Diamond
has the highest product yield in the industry. This is
accomplished with three times the shell drain time, plus
maximizing the breaker head angle and the timing of the
head opening with the centrifugal motion forcing the
product from the shell. Test results show drier shells, less
inedible and up to 5.5% more product yield.
Diamond Egg Breaker-Separators offer special
options to meet specific needs. Each machine
capacity can be designed as a whole egg machine
or as a separator of yolk and white. Diamond
breakers have the highest yield in the industry
with better egg handling in the transfer room, clean
shell breaks, less fractured egg yolks, longer
separation time, more shell drain time, higher yolk
solids and cleaner egg whites. Automatic loaders,
plastic tray washers, egg washers and automatic
candling are all available.
Liquid processing units start at 1.000 liters of
product per hour. High capacity systems will
process 9.000 liters per hour. Higher volume
operations are available with multiple machines
along with a single pasteurizer operating up to

efficiency and managing the incoming product.
Egg weighing is now available to remove certain
sizes for special shell egg markets before breaking.
The washdown scales also calculate the incoming
egg weight for feed conversion, product yield and
loss calculations. A laser candling wand helps to
quickly identify a dirt or leaker and automatically
rejects these eggs, saving time and handling
while increasing machine speeds. Yolk scanners
help guarantee the highest egg white standards.
C.I.P. Systems are available to reduce the
breaking and plant clean-up time.
The installation and equipment meets 3A,
USDA and EU Standards. The pasteurized and
further processed components also meet the
Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO).
