Origin: Southwestern deserts of California, Arizona, and
Baja
Sunset Zones: 8-14, 18-20
Maintenance: Prune to shape. Flower and seed pod drop.
Comments: Drought tolerant tree with green bark. Seeds
are edible. Will lose its leaves during extreme periods of
drought as survival.
