Scaffolding
Scaffolding is a temporary structure used to support
people and material in the construction or repair of
buildings and other large structures. The purpose of
scaffold is to provide a safe place to work, as well as
safe access to the work being done.
If we don’t have what you are looking for, we can
tailor safety and maintenance programs specific to the
needs of your company through the UBC’s Build a
Book program.
Because of our excellent record of safety, we are able
to help our contractors lower their mod rates. This
gives you the ability to bid on more jobs that may not
be available to other contractors.
Training:
Union carpenters receive training both in the classroom
and on the job. This training helps reduce safety
hazards, thereby avoiding damage to equipment, injury
to personnel and lost time on the jobsite.
Efficiency:
Due to our superior training and focus on safety, our
members are able to increase their productivity and
get the job done right the first time. We help you
achieve your goals of delivering a project on time and
on budget, with the highest quality of workmanship.
We have 14 training centers in our six-state Regional
Council alone. Additionally, there are dozens of UBC
training centers across the United States. All of them
offer the same rigorous training, so members skilled in
scaffold work are available regardless of where your
project is located.
Opportunity:
We have a pool of qualified, trained carpenters for you
to chose from to fit your scaffolding needs. Because
of our ability to fit you with a flexible and mobile
workforce, no job is too big or too small.
Additionally, if you need training for your carpenters
and aren’t able to send them to one of our training
centers, we can bring our training to you. All of
our training is available at no cost to our partner
contractors.
And because the UBC has skilled members located
across the United States, you have the opportunity to
broaden your scope of work across the country.
