Company Information
Founded in Cologne in 1999, TravelTrex GmbH, with its brand SnowTrex, has always
focused on selling winter sports holidays. Within just a few years, the company rose up
to become Germany’s largest specialist and since then has held the status of being the
leading expert in ski- and winter holidays.
Likewise, in 2005 the company began its
highly successful international expansion.
Now, SnowTrex holidays are bookable in 20

About SnowTrex
Foundation of the success of SnowTrex Ski Holidays is the living passion for skiing. From the start, company founder Andreas Rühl and second
manager Thomas Bartel brought their long-term experience as ski- and
snowboard teachers, tour guides, and winter sports holiday operators into
the company. To this day, they still share their enthusiasm with their team
on a daily basis, by now consisting of almost 100 members of staff.
With so much expertise, it was hardly difficult to win over some of the
most famous German skiing athletes as “Trexperts” for the company. Most notable is Felix Neureuther, Germany’s most
easily-recognizable and successful ski racer, who offers
SnowTrex his experience regarding the best ski resorts in
Europe.
His parents, Rosi Mittermaier and Christian Neureuther, who
themselves can look back on their Olympic victories and numerous
World Cup wins, offer SnowTrex tips for family holidays – a service which
cannot be found with any other tour operator.
On the other hand, the younger generations regularly receive exciting in-
sights from World Cup newcomer Michaela Wenig, such as behind the
scene views of the professional ski circus and recommendations for exciting destinations and spectacular ski resorts, all of which can be enjoyed
without having to spend too much money.

product line comprises high quality spa hotels in Germany, the
